I believe inflation is due to the salaries of players relating to the hostile clause value. A CF, for example, is usually valued more than a CDF. I think that the salary for players should depend on the position. A salary cap option depending on league would be very nice addition to the game also. People can easily stack teams in lower divisions. Another point that someone made earlier was to have a maximum income per season. I think that this would work quite well, but the max. income should not be "set in stone." If the max income per season is reached, the money should not be wasted, it can be stored in the SM "Bank" managed by the @'s. This would be used to lower the cost of players. Because of this, tax could be stay the same, or not be raised as much. |

I like the salary increases forced on higher ranking players as well as taxation on the higher earning teams. Someone also mentioned the fact that lower div teams can't be hostiled. Well this will again effect supply. As I have read this is the main problem. Too much money and too little supply. Fix=Provide higher progression players from next season with a higher rate of progress with training and then knock a zero off everyone balance. This means we all start off a bit poorer next season and more focus will move to the building of schools. Also maybe limit or at least make improving the stadium more difficult. So in the beginning div 7,6,5 building is easier or at least to a certain point but as you add to the stadium it gets exponentially more expensive with lower income for those improvements. I think this will also help with the problem of all the money coming into the game. Or tax the larger stadiums more heavily or even create requirements for the larger stadiums that will suck money. We need to remove money from the table and as I understand it would be best if the dev's did this sooner rather than later because this hyper inflation will kill the game. By the way, anyone know if the developers even read these threads. We could all just be blowing smoke up the mod's rear ends here |

The free market is the solution: if nobody buys the players at that price, then sellers will have to lower prices to land a sale. But if owners have that kind of Striker money to spend on players, then that's what they should go for. So, the next question is, where are they getting that kind of money? The same goes for real-world pro sports. The best players can only demand so much money. Beyond that, the teams simply can't afford it. That's the limiting factor: how much money the team owners can afford to pay, without bankrupting the team (which means, they have to expect enough profit from getting that player, to make it worth the money paid to get him). If the values are getting too far out of wack, then maybe that suggests a need to massage the numbers and algorithms a bit. Because again, in the real world, there are limits to how much even the best players can be paid. |

Don, in the real world these clubs are all running massive debt's. They are all in the red. If they ran it like we did here in the game they would all be out of a job within two weeks. | 06/03/2012 08:24 |

make it mandatory for all teams in group 6 and above to build a school.......................eg minimum 1 for grp 6, 2 for group 5 and so on...............this would lead to an influx of juniors and thus lower prices... | 06/03/2012 12:29 |

I do not think someone should be required to have a certain level of school. I think schools should be "ranked" or given points and then based on each division the # of points required from schools increases. What I mean by that is an excellent school in Brazil is given say 10 points (the maximum) down to a low school in Ireland worth 1 point (the minimum). Rankings could work based on a 1-5 scale based on Low = 1, Regular =2, Normal=3, High=4, Excellent=5. The schools could have a starting value to. Basically, the number of stars determines the "b" value of the linear equation (y=mx+b). Number of "school points" per Division. Div. 1: 31 Div. 2: 21 Div. 3: 13 Div. 4: 7 Div. 5: 3 Div. 6: 1 Div. 7: 0 This would work somewhat, but there would most likely need to be a maximum number of points per school so that people do not spam the market with tons of junior players. Or, you could also implement a certain income per week/month so that managers cannot sell all their players. |
