Couple of small ideas, likely some have already been suggested.

Link tax rate on everything to the amount of money you get on credit, like maybe +.5% for signings for every 1,000,000 you take out. Not a huge fix but it will probably take money out of the game.

Better players with very low progression to the smaller teams. Should take out inflation at it's base.

Increase supply of high prog juniors, try to create loose guidelines for pricing with high prog juniors, because paying 50m for a 8/14 player might seem ridiculous, but with the knowledge that he'll be 89 by 17 would easily change that to a lot of people.

But the main idea seems to be increase of supply of juniors and take money out of the game

Offer courses for staff to be either more cheaper or more effective than current. If it cost less to train staff then people will train more staff members.

If the training offered is increased and more effective then people will spend what it cost now in the system. Either one of these would help in some way to lower the money in the system.

If curbing inflation is the crux of the issue here.SM can increase the number of staffs add a goal keeper trainer, assistant manager, assistant coach, technicat advisers,cleaners,drivers. Teams can even be made to say transport(tickets)for away matches as in real life. 24/02/2012 23:01

nice one favito but leave teh gk trainer it cant be implemented @ any cost.

but all these ideas will have a big impact on the newbies so keep that in mind

Much has been said in this thread but I think there is one very simply and effective method to solve the main issue of inflation, and that is to simply multiply all player salaries by 5. That will have greater effect on high-average players and therefore make the expenses for high-division teams higher and easier for weak teams to catch up.
