What is the feasibility of creating a second cup called the Silver Cup or something like that, for teams that have been knocked out before a certain stage of the Striker Cup. This Cup will not aim to replace the Striker Cup, which I believe is perfect as it is - But it should be what the Carling Cup is to the F.A. Cup, or what the Europa League is to the Champions League Also, this 'Silver Cup' can ignore all System Bots, making it a much smaller competition for as many people as logistically possible. Thoughts? this is a good idea, what will you expect when a div 6 team is playing against a div 4 team.i think we should have at least a cup more.e g striker cup pro, striker cup normal and striker cup easy.probably by next season pro for div 2&3,normal for div 4&5 and easy for div 6&7.this will make the game more competitive and enjoyable. |

Lol, it's all good! The money you would earn, be it 10 million or 20 million, would still be negligible as there are so few people earning that much, and even fewer would be in the Silver Cup! With regards to the financial help, starting players have £2 million in base money. This is irrelevant to whether or not prices rise - Which they shall continue to do so! But the financial aspect is more of a tertiary factor. it's not about left/right-winged Economics, but you DO have to bare in mind that SM is similar to Keynesian Economics with a free-market coupled with Govt. Intervention (@'s). The main factor is, it would simply be nice to have a second cup which would give the smaller teams a chance! You're right about people rolling out of the cup, but look at it like the Champions League drop-outs hitting the Europa League. It's simply a second rate and shitter competition. Still worthwhile, but it's not the creme de la creme. The financial benefits of this should definitely be somewhere in the middle of a friendly/Striker Cup game. Another thing that is worth considering is, is that any Div. 3 team that wins the Silver Cup would be a laughing stock. You have to suffer the humiliation of losing in the Striker Cup early to be in the Silver Cup in the first place! haha - I somehow doubt Manchester United will feel like winners if they win the Europa League - And look a the stick that Liverpool for with their 'Mickey Mouse Treble' involving the UEFA Cup! haha But ultimately, it provides lower league teams with a bit more incentive in this game. Your average noob who quits after a month has to face the possibility that he's going to have to wait over a YEAR in REAL TIME to ever have a chance of getting to the top tier of this game. We often forget, that's a LONG time for a game! And with the retention rate of players being woeful, this is simply something that gives the smaller teams something to actually look forward to, as opposed to winning a league against 19 Bots who fell apart 10 games into the season! |

You have a point, but I don't think have THREE cups immediately is the best way to go about it! The whole point of the Striker Cup is that EVERYBODY can enter. And ANYBODY is given at least the CHANCE to win! |

It's not 0. I've beaten Division 3 teams on more than one occasion this season. Nobody gave Ubuntu a chance. He got to the final. Oh, and I also want to draw the best teams and get a 4 million Pay day. I want the OPPORTUNITY to play and beat the best teams. A cup just for lower league teams would be crap. With some random team winning it, getting promoted, and not defending it. Also, it's hard enough getting one change in this game... So don't rock the boat! |

The team that were knocked out of Striker Cup in the centre stage should be given second chance to compete in Silver Cup. | 23/12/2011 09:16 |

great idea really - this game depends on new players, not old ones and only old ones are given a chance to really participate in cup (let's be honest, playing for as long as you're lucky to get "dead" teams as opponents is not really participation). Give them some more content and i'm sure it's gonna do a lot of good for the game. | 23/12/2011 22:18 |

Then it'll be better to have Cup for each Division. The Champion from Div 7 , 6 , 5 , 4 , 3 , 2 will play each other to decide the winner to play against the Champion of Div 1 . Easy as that ^_^ | 23/12/2011 22:32 |
