Oh, and one more point. If a small team makes £20,000 per game, and they play 10 small teams, how much money do they make? £200,000. If a big team makes £1 million per game, and the small teams play 2 or 3 big teams... How much money do you think the small teams will make? SMALL TEAMS PLAYING BIG TEAMS CIRCULATE THE MONEY. BIG TEAMS PLAYING BIG TEAMS ONLY CIRCULATE THE MONEY BETWEEN THE BIG TEAMS. Your argument is not only flawed, but also without evidence. I rest my case. And I shall not be retorting any further comments from you. Thank you. |

In the 2008 FA-Cup semi finals, Portsmouth was the only Premier league team. The other three were Championship Teams - West Bromwich Albion Cardiff City Barnsley In fact none of those teams were 'big' teams really. |

before i raise that point i remeber that i heard the news on BBC that was during 07/08 season. so you need proof before you know that there are something in football that are not open to the public e.g champions league draw. They make it perfect in lay mans eye but deep inside the organizer it an arranged formular. So that they can earn more money. |

Beanwalker20 said: Dee12345 said: Big Teams facing small teams? 2007 - 2008 Cardiff City 2003 - 2004 Milwall That is the modern era. If u look further back, you will find plenty of lower league teams making it into the Final. So I have no idea what this '2008 FA' comment of yours is about. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FA_Cup_Semi-finals#2010s That is a list of all the past semi-finalists. Plenty of lower league teams over the years. So again, I did did my research, now feel free to do yours. the FA cup has only been won by a non english team once which is cardiff city in 1927. To explain more about what i mean primiership has become tense that the big for only win this cups. So the f.a decide that big teams should face each other e.g when we hav 2 team from big club and 2 from small the 2 big team face eachother while the small team face eachother also. - most of the past winners are team from english league not div2 or 3 e.g wanderers, blackburn, tottenham, preston north end, aston villa, shielfied wednesday they are all average teams then. And they won. So the FA want someting similar to this so that the money can circulate. Remember this take place during the global econmic meltdown. where to begin, first of all there has obviously been only 1 non english team to win the F.A. cup as its the football association of ENGLANDs cup. and i only know of 4 non english teams that participate (swansea, wrexham, newport county and cardiff, all welsh) the draw for the fa cup is done live and at random. not big team vs big team and small team vs small team. as for small teams playing small teams so they can get more money totally untrue. a small team wants to play the biggest team so its televised and they get a bigger turn out to the match which means higher ticket prices and more money. also div 2 or 3 is the english league and its called the championship, league 1 and league 2. in conclusion the fa cup is a random draw cup where anyone can play anyone, there are upsets and there are favourites winning too but thats why we love it, matches like barnsley vs liverpool and then against chelsea in the next round winning both games 1-0. |

ok in striker cup will it make sense if div 4,3,2 face each other before quater final and div7,6,5 to face each other. And in the quater final big team can now play small team and vice versa | 24/12/2011 14:57 |

I think all these are deviations from what this poll is about. Start another poll if you want to change the format of Striker Cup. | 24/12/2011 18:19 |
