if i had joined to a division 7 team with a team avg of 25 and and average player age of 30+ i would have never logged back into this game. not to mention even the few young players that are given to those new teams likely have little to no progression so training will do them no good. at the rate inflation is going, the only divisions with ACTIVE managers will be 1 and 2 by the end of this year.

Totally agree, Superstars.

Also, if it hasn't been mentioned, control the friggin sale of low avg high prog juniors. Right now there is an ad for an 88% prog avg and age 14 rdf with a min requested amount of 30 million (if I'm reading the topic right- something may be lost in translation). That is friggin insane and a prime example of a negative effect of having the spanish super inflation ideology forced on this server. By the time that avg 14 player is a viable squad player, nobody will be playing SM anymore. Sadly such market threads and issues are common nowadays.

And I think FCSuperstars mentioned he received something like 150 mill for a pair of jr forwards? Insane. At this rate my two 80+ prog jr forwards will fetch 300 mill next season. Stop such transfers and inflation is curbed.

Also, back to tran bombing, it behooves the fiscal @s to include a message if a suspicious tran request is denied due to already fined. It doesn't give anything away and provides a valid explanation. Maybe something like "transaction already reported and player already fined".

well like i said, i turned down the 150M offer for my two jr's b/c i know full well it will cost double or triple that to replace them at the beginning of next season when i do promote them. it is insane how much junior players have increased. i put together a stable of young forwards all with forecasts of 75+ for minimal investment and now trying to find one cheap is impossible so i just gave up....

and looking at the post for that 14/14 RDF for 30 MIL, that is of course a div two team who has 8 players with 1 Billion release clauses and is likely a top 10 team.

Most people don't have loads of money. The people with money mostly generated by buying and selling. I think in the long run inflation will be controlled by its self. No need for drastic action. Release of more high forecast players in the market will bring the prices down. 01/02/2012 23:56

It's a simple problem of economics. There is a high demand of good players, and the supply is relatively low. Thus those with good players can pretty much charge whatever they want. If you try to start controlling the market, it will likely make the situation worse. 02/02/2012 00:52

Few things i will like to add :-

1. Tax increase from 5% as you pay 10M+. I paid 10% tax for my 200M purchase. But i also think it can be further increased. But it should be on a gradual basis and obviously informed about it Atleast 2-3 weeks back. There can be seasonal changes in tax structure like there are changes in yearly budgets of country.

2. Cap on number of juniors -
Good suggestion but it will impact a lot on managers training GKs (like me). Like even if u put cap of max 2 player per position, you can have 10players for any demarcation other than GK. So it should be set according to demarcation rather than position.

3. Giving better teams to new managers should be done. When i joined there were teams getting many 50+ players that too young and some even got 60+.

4. Payment of all 60+ avg players a loyalty/ joining bonus at start of each season or purchase.

5. Anybody who troll here is getting banned for 72hours straight + 20 points penalty.

How about having contract clauses for players. Things like appearance fees, goal scoring bonuses, clean sheet bonuses. The better the player the higher the contract clause he demands. A way to take money out of the game.

Also like has been said before, it's a supply and demand issue. Increase the supply and prices will drop.

All earnings could be taxed to take money out of the game. The more you earn the more you are taxed.

And somebody already said about higher wages for better players/high release clause. If somebody wants to set a release clause of $1billion then fine, but it will cost £20m a week in wages, or something like it.
