I havent read all the topics about this issue. But i would like someone to give me a quick recap about this. I'll tell you what i know so far, and what i think about it, and let's see if we agree. As far as i know, what happened is that the manager Jeys68 didnt want to promote to the 3rd division. So he let his friends get the promotion for him. I have no problems to say that i find this act despicable. They've proved they have zero morale, and there is no defense on what they have done. I have to say 2 more things about it: 1.- The fact that they are @. I am terribly angry at them right now. I havent been able to talk to them, but i will most probably take out their @, as they have lost all my confidence. They've proven me that they can act as kids if the situation requires it, and that is something a good @ can never do. They represent us as a company, and we cannot allow this type of behaviour from them. 2.- The only point that acts as their defense, is the fact that noone got penalized for it. i mean, noone from the outside. Jeys68 didnt want the promotion, so he gave it to their colleagues ( they're all friends from spanish striker ). This is the only fact that can help them, but for me is not enough. As for the punishment, we have never punished these types of behaviour before, not even in striker spanish. It is not enough to apply article 9 of the game rules. It's only 2 games in the end. If someone else would have got affected by this, then we would talk about this again, but that is not the case, so i would vote for not punishing them. Let me hear your thoughts about this, please, i'm interested in what you think about it. But please stick to the topic, dont talk about closed topics and such, we can talk about this in some other topic. I think it is a good decision, as you said there wasn't any other team fighting for the other place, only the 3 of them, and he didn't want to get promoted, but the way they acted, was really wrong... | 12/09/2011 12:11 |

Let us consider a scenario where a very well-to-do manager A wants to help a new player B. He sells his 60 avg CF to him for 8 millions, which is way low than the market price. Now, directly, only these two people are affected. and even if the Manager A is ok to take the hit, it is unethical, and deserves a Ban. But as I see, the main reason of this ban is, that the managers at similar level of Manager B, will be effected adversely, as he has a caretaker kind of figure. Now in this case, directly, only three managers were involved. But now that @Dnsvnsk is promoted, it will indirectly effect 19 other managers who will be in his league in Season 4. So in parallel, they deserve a punishment of similar severity. |

alot of people got retained for giving their opinion .. this oppression must end but seriously they should be sanctioned.. because we cant start ignoring rule and following only good intention... bc The road to hell is paved with good intentions.. if they apologize they should be sanctioned 4 dayz next season... |

I undersdtand what you say, sanyman. But i think this is not aplicable in this case. You say that it will indirectly affect the other 19 managers of div 4, group 4. I have checked the 3 rosters involved, and well, they're all pretty alike. I would agree with you if Jeys68 had a way better team than the other 2, but that is not the case. |

My view is that it sets a very dangerous precedent. If managers are allowed to break the rules as long as they have "good intentions", then there is no way of effectively making this game fair. @s should set an example of good, moral behaviour to others, they cannot choose when they are and are not allowed to break the rules. | 12/09/2011 12:20 |

Staying away from other topics, I feel that what they have done would have gotten us banned quite easily. But the main problem is that they have directly undermined any confidence all of us had in the fairness of the game and the ability of players to be @'s. From now on all of us will be looking very closely at every action of every @. @'s need to be whiter than white because the only place to post about cheating is with @'s. What they have done is undermine every other administrator on this game, by abusing their powers to keep things quiet. The reason that I feel things became so uncontrolled is because of a lack of confidence in heirarachy of the game. For that I feel should make an example of them. |

Here is the summary of everything that happened, this will be a rather long post: First, one of the managers on Striker manager noticed that something was fishy about that game. He informed a couple other managers about it, including me. We discussed it privately and noticed that indeed something weird was going on. I decided to bring it up on the forums in the thread below, after @dnsvnsk said that he plays here because it is easier than spanish version: http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=260945 @bisho decides to defend @dnsvnsk and locks the thread right away, I do not blame @bisho for locking the thread because this is his job anyways. Simultaneously, we were sending cheating reports to other @s about this issue. ALL of the reports (that i know of) were declared invalid. We had no other option but to send messages to the admins, @rand/@ranru/@internat. All three of you have not not been on striker manager for a couple days so we decided to bring it up on the forums again. Each and every thread we made to discuss this issue was either deleted or locked to try and keep us quite. Here are a couple of the locked/deleted threads: http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=261152 (doubts, who guards the guards) http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=261238 (suggestion, conflict of interest between shared IP) http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=261240 (suggestion, appeal process) http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=261200 (deleted version of league 4/4 on fire) http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=261180&m=757985#m757985 (another deleted version of league 4/4 on fire) http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=261144&m=757988#m757988 (a thread removed from a private league...i think this is the first time this happens) http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=261157 (another deleted version of league 4/4 on fire) http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=261249 (locked thread) In addition to deleting and/or locking those threads, many users were banned for this issue including myself. Here is a list of the members banned for discussing this topic (the ones that i know of): Slipi Rebsiot (rebsiot was also banned from chat for discussing this issue) Solirocket Shadow strike Bojanv Grantis45 ABC DEFG illiterate Now, thoughts about the situation: (This is copied from another manager) Today, after being denounced, dnsvnsk posted that the game in question was, in fact, fixed. This is indisputable now. Where the abuse comes in is when Bisho closes threads to try to contain the fire, and the dnsvnsk reopens them so for an obviously coached explanation. I told Jeys68 at 9:30 CDT (US) that he was impacted by this fixed game, his response at that time was "Thanks, friend", after dnsvnsk said to ask jeys68 about being approached. He did not acknowledge that he made a solicitation to fix the game. FOUR HOURS LATER. Dnsvnsk, in a move never seen before, re-opens a thread for the sole purpose of jeys68 posting an obviously coached explanation, which raises it's own set of questions. After reopening the thread, I posted those questions, whereupon dnsvnsk apparently told bisho to retain me. DNSVNSK behavior is an obvious abuse of power, at best. At worst, he is abusing his power to cover the fact that he cheated. Judging by timelines, and reactions, I submit that JEYS68 did not ask to be prevented from being promoted. A more fitting storyline is this. FACT 1. DSNVNSK and Daniel Adair conspired to make sure dnsvnsk was promoted to division 3 by fixing a game. 2. They were caught out, and this became public knowledge THEORY 3. dsnvnsk panicked, and put up an explanation requiring that jeys68 ask to have this done (which actually implicates jeys68 also) 4. something happens (reward or threat) where jeys68 accepts blame for incident FACT 5. dnsvnsk and jeys68 coordinate the reopening of the thread for the express pupose of absolving dnsvsnk 6. when proper questions are raised, slipi and rebsiot are retained by bisho under orders from dnsvnsk. dnsvnsk engaged in cheating at step 1 and abused his @ privileges in steps 4-6. He did, in fact, cheat the game and abuse his power. @ have a communication problem, but the integrity isn't questioned. Please do something about this. I denounce @dnsvnsk Edited by solirocket 12-09-2011 12:29 |
