i'd still be disappointed if I see a 85+ avg senior/junior player with around 100m release clause (if not less) but loaned to another team. | 20/03/2015 22:38 |

I agree that this is not a good idea for the simple reason this will only help the teams in the higher divisions get the best players if your in the fourth or third divisions your income is a lot lower than if your in the first therefore these players can afford to protect their youth players by paying higher wages but the ones in the lower leagues have a lower income and cannot afford to pay high wages which will make it easier for the higher divisions to pick the players that they want for their teams and also the players they want to sell to make a profit, which of course will give them more money to buy the players that they want? Its not so simple for div.1 teams like you think,i was in div.1 long time never used deposits coz i was always improving my team. My weeklies were 130M+ and i was making 40M per home game,so in 2 weeks i make 200M and pay 260M+. SC was one of incomes,store and catering ~7m per week and if i get some good jr from school,so it was always fight to pay weeklies for me. If you add to that this new update its not easy at all if you dont have deposits. Even if some low div. team have 5 juniors lets say 93+prog LF/CF/RF ~500M worth each he can keep them with 200k salary so 1M for all,and he can pay subs with 500k in total 1.5M. |

If you can't manage to get your weeklies under your income each week things get incredibly hard. It's not so hard to keep your weeklies under your income in div 4-6, but it gets really hard in 1-3. This update sucks on an individual basis, you have to spend more money and none of your players are protected each season, but on a whole it helps to balance things out for the entire game. There will invariably be some hiccups and people figuring it out, players hostiled, etc. but it will level itself out pretty quickly. This hurts teams with 85+ 17 year olds more than a team growing young guys with good prog. If you have so many good juniors that you can't afford to pay their salaries, ALL you have to do is sell 1 of those really good juniors and it will pay your seasons worth of junior salaries. |

Time for a little rage. I can see people quitting the game because of this update, every season they bring out something stupid to make people want to do that, they may aswell just kill the game completely and get it over with. Or is that not quite subtle enough? Now, as for the update, it's quite clearly designed to help the top teams in the game, the lower division are never going to afford to have a good junior team and will constanty have to sell their players to stay afloat. I'm pretty sure while in Div 4 my GK was about 90/16 and I was being offered oover 1b per time for him and when he hit 96 I was offered 2.5b, now no one can tell me I'd of been able to afford to keep him and my other top Gk's without going into debt, so I would have been forced to sell some of them and never would have progressed as I did. It's going to make things so much more difficult. Even if it does hinder a few top teams, it will impact the lower teams alot more and stop them progressing as they normally would of been able to. tl;dr: Terrible update. Making random guesses isn't going to make anyone change their mind. The point still stands, that it affects smaller teams alot more, makes things harder for everyone and is completely unnecessary. Edited by liverpool6792 21-03-2015 16:54 Its not random guess,see my GK 98prog99FC sold only for 120M http://en.strikermanager.com/jugador.php?id_jugador=18697754 This GK can be protected with 400k salary 1B clause,and for subs you need ~100k per player if they are ~90prog. Even if you need x2 salary its ok,see my juniors and 2 temp.promoted and tell me how much should i put salary on them. And i still think this is good update. |
