Real attack v Defense in my league today as the top 2 fought it out! http://en.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=15042464&accion=alineaciones My team (Team Defense) hosted the league leaders in a very tight game. A draw was probably the fairest result, although my team did have the better of the play. The draw means I drop to 3rd, but it's a long season in a frighteningly tough group, and I am happy to settle for a point in this one. Hope everyone gets a result they are happy with today! |

sico -- good for you! your insights on zone v. man 2 man a few weeks ago was incredibly useful, i applied alot of what you said, along with a few other things, and it has led to a nice improvement, in fact, i knocked a team out of one of the promotion slots today, a team that totally locked me down last game and this season also proves how valuable the zero effort league has been, so to all of the shits out there, you're going to be fighting for your life once you get to div 4, so clean up your act and make some good choices for the long term, that is, unless you like playing div 5 your entire career sico, thanks again for your advice and best of luck to you and the PL crew the rest of the season. cheers, oldfirm watp |

Chasing second place by two points is a problem. Chasing second place by 2 goals in goal differential is a problem. Chasing the top scorer for GB's when you are in DIV 5, sitting in first, undefeated, with a GD of + 139 is not a problem.....just my humble opinion  |
