We hardly use "Nerdlinger" to describe obssession or anything related to it (in case that's what you meant). We use a rather local description for such people. Mayor probably personalised it way too much, putting up funny defences.  |

NERDLINGER is actually a complement. Nerd isn't so much obscessive, I meant it, as it is sometimes used in the US, as a term of endearment for an INTELLIGENT math geek, computer geek or science geek. Apologies to Mayor - I can't rib him too much for being clever at things I am useless at Change of topic - today marks the halfway point of the season.
