Just so we're clear - today against Vortex - use as much effort as you like.
By revenge on Sunday against Racing I hope you mean revenge of the 0% kind.

Yeah, congrats to Mayus - he has played well and played fairly.

Taking very little away from Zatwor, they played very well, but my team bombed today in all areas. I might well have lost the game and really dented my chances at a second consecutive prize finish. That's your job tomorrow, Ali!

In two outta my last three games,(against Fc Nori & Racing Team) i've repeatedly gotten red carded in the 74th minute buh surprising i scored after those cards. Yesterday's tho dented my opportunity to win against Racing...as i scored 2& subsequently conceded 2, all in the last 15minutes. 12/05/2014 06:23

Happy Monday everybody!

As we are now just over halfway through the PL season, it's a good time for an update on the current Olympus Circle league tables as seen by us admins.

Remember, violations count more than points!

C1

A1

A2

As we can see, C1 is very much the cleanest group. Due to having one violation apiece, the difference between survival and relegation between FC Bayern Munchen and White Walkers is down to just 1 goal. Not much change at the top of the table, as Antarctica FC and Concilio continue to impress with dominant performances. The battle for the final cash prize is still between FC Kylle, Stallion FC and KBC Thistle, whose 3 violations still render them in deep trouble of relegation. Last season's champions Fortuna's 6-match unbeaten run came to an abrupt end yesterday, but that impressive turn of form sees Fortuna move up to 5th place overall in our rankings, up 5 places in 6 games. Shaolin Corinthians breath a sigh of relief, as they move out of the bottom four.

The situation in A1 is a bizarre one, with just 3 teams having a spotless violations record thus far. Plavi 9 wake up to find themselves in a promotion place. ROCKPOOL's clean record has seen them bounce back from relegation, and they look comfortable to return to C1 as A1 champions as long as their good record continues. Anfield's good record is enough to land them a very respectable 3rd place, but their recent upturn in form could mean they are a long shot for promotion. Esteghlal and PH@R@OHS drop places due to the single violation, but are still very much in the race. Very little change at the bottom of A1, although MANCHESTER UNITED and The Cardiacs have hopefully fallen into line. No such luck for Naissus, who is going to find it a very difficult campaign. The constant blows to his stamina has contributed to him losing 4 normal league places since the last update, hopefully driving home the point made by us admins about it being very tough to handle hostile games 5 times a week.

A2 now takes the record for the number of violations accumulated, up now to 55. Few changes at the top as Fandi Ahmad continues as the poster boy of playing attractive yet fair football. 14 points clear, of Chalmers Utd, FC Nori look set to achieve automatic promotion, while Hurricanes challenge Chalmers for the 3rd spot. Buoyed by slips from those around them, Mayor's Super Eagles rise up to the 5th place after losing only 1 of their last 8 games. Very few changes at the bottom of the league, as Vortex, Leave me enjoy, Tottingham, Al karama and FC ZENITH all continue to do what they do best.

Good luck to everyone in their remaining games, let's keep this competitive and clean. Thanks to the 16 teams who have been able to keep clean records so far, this is a noble achievement. Everybody with more than 2 violations, take a look at your normal league table and see if you don't think you could have done better if you'd just played fair.
Expect another update in a few weeks.

NB

Those team highlighted for promotion and relegation are subject to change, even after all 26 games have been completed. Additional spaces may become available in C1 should one of our premier teams choose to withdraw. In this case we will first fill those spaces with those teams from C1 with clean records before looking to the teams finishing just outside the promotion places in A1 and A2. Some teams, for whatever reason, may not wish to promote to C1, in which case we will first fill their space with the team with the best violations record from the A group concerned or an otherwise relegated C1 team.

The teams are listed by the following criteria, in descending order of importance:

1) Violations - a team with 2 violations will be ranked lower than a team with 1 violation.
2) Points
3) Goal difference
4) Goals scored
5) Admin decision
