However, I think Aruen and me have been forthcoming. The best conversation is to have many contribute, because those are my opinions... nothing more! As for DFM, well I like one so much that I can't wait to try to play with two. They do make a big difference, and I have splurged to get a 70+dfm. It helps. Efforts. I played all last year at 45% and forgot about this (no joke). I even used golden balls to get a boost because I would lose a game for no reason. I tried this year to go to 90%+ and my guys die in the second half. So I now use a high effort for a period at the start of the game, then will adjust as per the goal differential. It gets very easy to play against me when I am up by 2. If you are playing at a very high effort, it seems there is a bug if your opponent is playing a a very low effort (0 to 20%). As soon as you are close to your opponent's players, the player falls and you get a foul. I lost my cup game this year this way and I finished the game with way too many fouls. I couldn't get any flow to the game. |

Still slow down, give your opinion or say what you have been doing and ask if any one has ideas on improving. It will make the discussion continue, and be relevant to anyone. By being in div 3 and not getting relegated, you have already kinked my behind. So contribute too. |

this thread was really a good idea. Thanks so much for your ideas and sharing the way you play. For me, this season I changed my advanced tactics. If it was or wasn't a good idea... I don't know, but the truth is I really dislike my current way of playing. The advanced tactic that a very kind user gave me worked really hard on defence, by joining a big amount of players in your own area defending. The problem is when attacking, because my forwards (RF and LF) are in the center of the field and have to fight quite strong to arrive the rivals' area, so most of times, they lose the ball. I tried wings with RM and LM, it seemed to work better, but sometimes they are like decorate, just spots on the field and they don't receive the ball even if you choose play wings instead of play along the center. Lately, I would like to ask something I have just asked in the Spanish forum... why some changes are not made in the match? This is going me crazy. Everything seem to be right and it looks like that some players reject playing, they must be mad at the manager...  . My God.Thanks again for your comments and support. |

Does anyone have any tips as to getting forwards past the wall of defenders mid-field? I think this is referred to as the offsides trap- I've got mine set, but how about breaking the other team's trap? | 03/06/2013 23:18 |
