None the less...I still think it would be easier to correct the game for these situations that ocurr so often...and in real football don't happen at all. I'm mean...i'm no software programer...but for those who made this game...it should be a relative easy thing to do to make an impediment of players passing the ball to already offside team mates in front of them and keep them running towards goal. |

If the solution were that simple it would have been implemented already. Until a complete solution is found, the only alternative is to find a work around. Hopefully the solutions others have provided here will give you something to work with.  |

Well...I hope the developers do find a good solution. Maybe the idea I gave can be used. I don't know. The ideas and solutions have been proven helpfull, really. I'm just sad that so many people still use a way of play that has nothing to do with football what so ever. But I do understand that getting good results is more important than to have actual fun watching the games and see your players perform well, as I do. O well...it's a free game...good to pass time with...I can't complain  ! |

Not sure if I am too late or not but remember, when opponent likes to go beyond midfield line with defenders, remember that you can't be offside in your own half. What I do is keep my entire team in my own half when the ball is in my half, and as I enter to opponent's half I keep them behind the ball until I reach a certain area of the field depending on the opponent. | 07/02/2013 06:48 |

True...question is...the offside situation I'm talking about...always happen long after the midfield line been crossed. So, even though I put my offence behind midfield line...wouldn't help, because, long after I pass the midline and give dirt to opponent players being quicker than them,...my ball carrying guy still passes the ball to an advanced team mate clearly in offside position. | 07/02/2013 16:23 |
