Is there a way we could get a weekly report of new managers somewhere? It would be nice to have a welcoming committee of sorts. To help new managers out.

Welcoming committees would only turn into poaching committees for many people and a list of new managers would make it very easy for guys to convince them to sell their best juniors. There is plenty info and chat and forum

billyo11 I would have guessed they would turn into recruiting committees for private leagues, but wasn't too worried as at least in that scenario it keeps people playing the game. 12/08/2012 23:24

Maybe dn but I still think there are guys who might look at if as an opportunity to buy cheap players at the new guys ex pence.
But a list as you said might highlight some multi accounts easier for sure as more people might view new managers

There is a little possibility that people who join for the first time don't like the game.

Or maybe they forget his password.

Or maybe they even forget they once registered here.

A challenge to everyone indeed,it hurts when a new manager open a team and finds a squad of 20ish average, where do you want him to starts.he will tend to open another team in the quest to get a better team, which is impossible, like 4/5 seasons ago.a div 6 team can have a lot of 50average player now not possible i mean for new manager.please check the team average offer to new manager, before we heard that its 35 which is ok.but now should be around 27-29.thanks 13/08/2012 02:54

Like everything else in life. In time comes wisdom, experience and gray bush.

The longer you stay around the better your team will be. Some people dont understand this. It also doesn't help if users already in the game don't go out and put in a good review on google app store or anywhere else the SM game can be received letting people know, hey we are here!

I think this was discussed once before in another thread about a buddy system or mentoring system. I think it would be a great idea to attach new users to existing users. A kind of bust down the door on being anti-social on the web. A new user gets a new team and a mentor for the first season.

And if not a buddy system then Like suggested before, A list because that's where the list of new managers would help further SM because then we can go out and get these guys involved directly, rather than allowing people to get frustrated and ultimately quitting.

Responding to O.P----

I dont think there is anymore any personnel of SM can do besides continuing to clean up the forum and keeping the SM tone from satirical to comical and inviting. Which I would say has changed over the last three seasons. There still some trolls but , there working on becoming shreks ;P

Actually, I can see this heading well. In es I can already get a 50+ team in about a month from joining (not even being active there). Players will get cheaper and it should get easier to get full 50 average team than 1 year ago

Then lets have it here too,at least 35-40 average is ok.and how can you have that as a beginner and plan to quit,or open another team. 13/08/2012 08:39

Let's have it here? be patient, prices will go down with time.
And it's not like the beginners have to play 90 averaged team. They play people or bots that probably have team as good as them. The bad thing is not that they have weak teams, it's that they mostly play bots. In es I believe div6 is already decently active and div7 is where people start.
I believe devs are aiming for that and I really hope it happens
