Weekend 2 Round up (by patient and ubuntu) Saturday Weekend 2 Round up Shadow Masters stadiums were crowded today ready for round 3 of the games. It was a wet day as usual and this was quite frustrating for some teams who couldn't score due to low visibility and bad shape of the grass. 26 goals were scored, with 3 clean sheets kept. Here are the recaps: Ɲıƞȷą 0-4 Bren†ford FC: Ɲıƞȷą squad tried to pass the ball around as much as possible and keep possession but they just didn't get a chance to shoot and it didn't help when CF Logan Jones got injured. Manager @grantis was quite confident as he saw his team dominating with shots and recoveries. He now has the leading top scorer of the private league and his squad himself are 2pts ahead of anyone else. "Once I get the momentum, it will be really hard for anyone to beat me" said @grantis just after the game....sgand was seen nowhere Drunken Monkey 1-1 junior Barcelona fc: Disappointing game for the Drunken Monkeys who thought they had it until a late goal for the young Barcelona squad denied them. Each squad had an injury but the Monkeys seem to be the unluckiest with a red and yellow card added to that. "He fully deserved it" said manager sonymose, "you can only expect that from committing 26 fouls in a single game.....they need to learn to play fair". Kasul on the other side was arguing that the ref was just against them and that it was maybe because of lack of visibility in the stadium due to rain. His team is now down to 5th while sonymose is giving his team a speech about being 7th and not top of table. †eam S†owgood 1-1 FC Infinit Arad: Both teams were looking to finally win a game this season but failed. The game was quite even, but stowgood was still leading 1-0 after his LIM picked up an injury but he was badly surprised after equalizing goal of Infinit Arad team in the last 10minutes of the game. "We are cursed......" were the last words he said. Manager clau couldn't be found on the field just after †eam S†owgood's goal. The game didn't affect their position on the board that much as both teams maintained the 9th and 10th places. FC Ubuntu 4-0 ☆SKORPIONS BLUE☆: Despite a crushing win over the SKORPIONS, manager Ubuntu looked disappointed with the terrible performance of the opponents. Manager -Anco- talked about resting his players before the game but neither managers could be found after. This game left ☆SKORPIONS BLUE☆ at the bottom of the table while FC Ubuntu are working their way back up to the top and are currently 2nd. † ❊st☯n Vill❊ 3-2 ❊swif† shadows☻: A game that the team that seemed to be looking forward to the most won. Hewhoamareismyself had been preparing the entire week to successfully get his first win of the season. ❊swif† shadows☻’s fairy-tale start to the season was checkmated in this enthralling encounter. The home team dominated possession while † ❊st☯n Vill❊ created more goal-scoring opportunities. ❊swif† shadows☻ took the lead in the 12th minute but their DFM Mustafic Hwee undid all their hard work 20 minutes later with an own goal. † ❊st☯n Vill❊ found themselves trailing again after Gavin Malpas scored his second. However, Dave Priest saved the day with two late goals in front of a record 62,598 boisterous spectators. Hewhoamareismyself thanked ex-ninja, manager Colton, who provided him with Dave. This game pushed † ❊st☯n Vill❊ to 8th on board while the swift shadow were pulled back to 5th † Pansies † 2-0 ♔ Al Ahly ♔: ♔ Al Ahly’s season could not get any better as they succumbed to a record-equalling straight third defeat at Pansy City. Any hopes of picking their first points of the season took a huge setback in the 25th minute when their GK scored an own goal. † Pansies †’s defenders ensured another clean sheet with a high and disciplined defence line leading their opponents to 20 offside calls. Al Ahly fans are worried about their team not winning even more now that their star player "solirocket" is injured. Pansies were happy and celebrated on the other side of the field with their team now 3rd on the table. Shinobi 4-2 ☯ 忍 F. C ☯ ℠: Shinobi’s loanee, Michael Koopu scored 4 on his debut to move joint top on the top scorers chart. Incidentally, it was another loanee GK Alonso Cabrera who did the most to keep the final score respectable with 8 amazing saves. That was enough to earn him the MOTM award. ☯ 忍 F. C ☯ ℠’s Kobe Hughes scored his second in the 89th minutes to make it 3-2 but they went on to concede another before the final whistle. Shinobi are now 6th while ☯ 忍 F. C ☯ ℠ are 11th of the table.
