How can you put your defense above the halfway line?

In Football.. YOU CAN'T BE OFFSIDE IN YOUR OWN HALF!!!!

I think all they need to do is if you are in a breakaway situation and you get tackled from behind, red card... That will make you think twice before pulling your defense above the center line. But this will need a pretty interesting coding so you don't end up with a bunch of red cards every time someone get's tackled.

That will result to many cards in the games.

Better yet - don't lunge unless the tackle is possible, rather than lunging over and over and over again. Should reduce the number of unnecessary fouls as well. 05/12/2011 06:10

I also made the suggestion (twice in two different threads) that a short recovery time between lunging tackles can be introduced. It will make the defenders harder to catch up with the strikers if they miss a tackle from behind and also eliminates the hilarity of seeing football players skating on grass.

It doesn't matter where the defense is placed. THERE IS NO OFFSIDE RULE FOR YOUR OWN HALF.

Because in Advanced Formation you can put the defence where you want.

Romasik player is not is his own half, he is in the opponents.
