For those who complain about Offside , i think i need to remind you that 1 ) In real life when one team take a corner , both CDF will go forward to try their luck . Winger and DMF fall back but still standing on the halfway line 2 ) When the opposite counter , Strikers usually taking advantage to get around defensive line ; therefore all defenders will pull up higher to trap the Strikers into offside position |

Just saying, since you guys are closer to them (i know until now you know as much as we do) if they do say anything in your little @ hideyhole, send it to everyone quick. I know its unlikely they will tell anyone before the changes, but just incase they have become any better at dealing with users... The usually respond to twitter requests within a day. I think that is the most effective way to communicate with them I generally post anything you finding the urgent area onto the twitter site. @striker_manager |

Right, now that all the silliness is behind us we can get back to the topic of the thread: Offsides. What I'll do then is start a suggestion thread with some of the nice ideas that have come out of this thread to make offsides fairer to the attacking side. These will obviously include fixing the current bugs like passing to an attacker in his own half. Once we have voted on the best of these, I can pass it on to admin to help with their tweaking. The last thing we need is for them to make it worse |

Granted, i did not put all my effort into this game...but it is "close" to the one i used the previous day in my 4-0 win. The strategy is not unbeatable, it just needs someone to think about it. |

I think all they need to do is if you are in a breakaway situation and you get tackled from behind, red card... That will make you think twice before pulling your defense above the center line. But this will need a pretty interesting coding so you don't end up with a bunch of red cards every time someone get's tackled. Edited by Romasik2000 05-12-2011 01:17 |

Yeah totally, you could just make it so the defender tries to come around to the side to tackle first and only lunge in if he's really aggressive and thinks he wont get there before the attacker gets a shot away | 05/12/2011 02:42 |
