Do you prefer the current simulator's slow progression and longer player career, or the old sim's fast progression and shorter player career? 08/10/2011 02:54

Because player can be found easily so we really don't need them to have a very long career . And to make it more excitement, we should higher the training for player , especially Junior . At this rate , i will never have a chance to promote my Youth unless i have to wait until they hit the right age. 08/10/2011 02:57

Which do I prefer? I always tend towards more realism so I prefer the new model. I don't know if it makes the most sense though given the other mechanics of the game. Going to have to see. 08/10/2011 03:00

I'm just really worried about how the Juniors come into play now; however, overall i like the sentiment better.

one other suggestion I could have added to the poll:

use old faster progression for 14-19 year olds
use new slow progression and longer life for 20-31 year olds.

I agree. With this slow speed running a junior team doesn't make any sense at all. At least not as long as the high average juniors from the last two seasons are still around in the senior squad because there's no chance developing any player that comes remotely close to them!

So especially the juniors need to develop quite a bit faster!

The best suggestion is to make the Junior improve faster . This is realistic too because young people learn fast . Senior can still be the same since they gain skill and stat 08/10/2011 04:03

Yup, agree with beachbernie.

I'm glad the one dimensional training was canned.

There should be steep slope in the front, with a nice near flat top and gradual slope in the back. That way those with starter teams would have a bit more of a chance to train up their young guns to be good players (20 and under).

I'm 99% sure that high prog players are rarer though (I could be wrong though, as I've been on many things).

But this still does not solve or address the top heavy nature of this game...

btw, I did not vote.

i vote for Old sim: fast progression/short career but i like new one too, just need faster training x2
if training stay like this we cant promote our juniors...they will be 35-40
and another big problem is that i got some 18 years high prog. juniors which i cant promote this season and next season too
time is too short with this training to make some decent junior 40+...

i think developers are for fast progression too
last season i spend too much GB on searching high prog. players even if i dont have money to buy them i was making strategies
i think this 50GB search will be much less used now with this training

this new training already make big hole between top teams with 70+avg teams and others, with old training i think it will be more balanced and we can get some 70+ Quality players in 1-2 seasons

i agree, i don't like new training but it could be a good solution...
with this new training poor teams won't have a chance to improve. wear a +30 new team's boots for a second: what can u do to improve your team? nothing! you cannot train your players 'cause it will take u a year and a half life time to get a +40 team; u cannot buy 'cause u have no money, u cannot upgrade your stadium.... then what? u cannot even buy free young players! haha

schools are useless! why would i train players that i know i will never use.. just to sell them for a low price? look at this => i have a +55 team, my youth players will get as much, training this way for two seasons, +45... where can i put him? i'd be an idiot i i put him in my first team....

nevertheless, market prices will keep rising, to have a +80 player will be invaluable.... haha...

in this way the gap between a high division team and the others will always be the same... no chance to improve <=> boring game ...

thx, c u
