This is not the game I used to play and enjoy 9 years ago. You telling me it's because of some bugs pissed me off the more. How can you say it's because of bugs.It's either you don't want to accept the truth about what's happening in the game probably because you're a fiscal(come on!, I can understand you want to protect the image of the game) or you're being sentimental. I will stop, here. |

No reason to be angry man, be calm, we're just having a discussion, which is really one that is necessary. Firstly, for us to clarify the issue if you don't mind, you said it's not because of the bugs, so aside that, what other thing or reason have you that makes the game to be qualified as dying. Let's reason it out! What else do you know that is happening! Tell me the truths... |

I said I'd stop but I think I've to reply to this. -How many active managers are there still in this game compare to previous seasons. Recently, it takes mangers days, weeks to login to their team and tweak something. It's once in a while, now. They'd just login and change lineup and assign little things and they are off, again. -Go to private leagues; then, private leagues were very competitive, their forums always bumping up with messages. We used to have inter private league competitions, this private league competiting against the other. With what is happening now, you can't even be sure of having a complete private league after creating it. -Managers seeking for new tactics and formations. How often have you opened general forum and see where a manager is seeking advice on tactics or formation these days. It's rare. -Have you seen market? I mean Striker manager general market. It's like only five players available for sale, hourly. To buy a player in the market seeming very difficult. I've billions in my account and yet I can't spend it on right players. Like.... Please, tell me the effects bugs have on some of the things I said above. As far as I know, we've been dealing with bugs and system glitches since this game started operating. You should be sure that I'm actually going to agree to all these, over the years the community has been shrinking and also become less active. Lot of top managers have left and only few serious minded managers are joining. This should be the concern of everyone; managers, fiscals and admins. Just this morning, I got so pissed by the advertisement I was getting from one other football management game from my browsing apps, claiming they now have a 3D simulator, I don't want to mention the name. And I was wondering why we can't be getting such from SM as well. As you can see, we're on the same page on the issue, but the more pressing issue is that of this reoccurring buggy crash that we've been having in recent times. So I'm assuring you that in my own capacity, I'd take this up, work together with other fiscals and the devs in bringing back the Glory days of Striker Manager. A lot of things will have to be put in place for this to happen but to start with we all need to change our mentality about the game that it's dying, it's nobody fault that more managers are leaving and less are joining, managers can never say or tell what's really happening in the innermost room and it's not good to assume. I can understand you, Oye. In as much as you wouldn't want to say it we all know the devs are the major problem. Followed by some fiscals who think having the badge gives them the right to detain, suspend and remove users without a congent reason or proper investigation. I've played this game for close to 10 years now and there's no "much" improvement coming from devs. It's the same thing season after season. Promotion and relegation,private leagues, friendly games. Same match commentary every season (Couldn't have been offside with more than a nose..). Same striker cup every season. No new ideas. No new innovation. No adverts. |
