Anybody else ever get a touch of withdrawal from the game?

Last week, I ended a 3-week period of buying 14 youth, selling 9 sr/18-yo players, promoting 7 from junior to sr, and signing my first 90-rated dude..

And now, no roster changes until hostile night next season at the earliest.

xDF training in youth.. Focusing on getting defenders' passing stat >70 so that it's greater than the ballsteal of all but div1 forwards.

Tackling x2
Running x2
Intercepting x2
Clearances x2
Running wB x1
Aerial x1

*Intercepting and Clearances are for the passing stat
*Running wB and the Aerial are for the technique stat.. yes, L&Rdf don't get trained during RWB.. Oh well.

The first time I did RWB training in sr team, I started all 4 CDF i currently have [1 at RDF, 1 at LDF] and then at 15 minutes swapped them out for different positions, just to get the extra 10% from starting.

Those final 2 trainings are also not helpful to your DFM training.. also, oh well -- Unless you're focusing exclusively on DFM, I'm not sure how to avoid it or get ball control/passing trainings for the DFM stats. For DFM, you get passing+dribbling with the other trainings, and should promote to sr for passing [top technique for DFM] each season. Note that you can't also train DFM with xIM, because DFM needs aggression which is only acquired via xDF training.

I have same training but no running with the ball and aerial. I have plans to introduce that next season. 22/10/2015 19:03

Thanks for replying! I hope we can discuss so that we [and others who have this pinned] can learn..

1) Did you do anything special for your DFM to achieve their current levels? [eg, was their first year in youth spent doing xIM training, or some such] Because if not, then DFM would appear to ramp technique to a great level and passing to a "good enough" level -- without doing the IM training of passing.

2) Your youth xDF.. Did the 95/95 LDF received a different training regimen earlier - passing of 25 makes me curious? Same question for CDF Barbas.. only passing of 50? The reason I ask is.. I kept doing the same training for my sr CDF [except i used 2x running w ball instead of 1x running w ball, 1x aerial] for only 3 seasons and they're all now >60 passing with my league starters >70 passing.

Started that training only last season. Will do same this season again before adding so other options to it.
Secondly, i don't have any other trainings for my DMF. I only train them in seniors. They train as defenders till age 19 before starting mid training.

In div1, Golden Pugs has a youth RDF named Haas with passing =61 as of today. That's the development plan I'm seeking to emulate. It is possible.. 24/10/2015 14:11

It is actually possible. My current 14/15yo guys will hopefully have some nice passing stat if i stick to this training. 24/10/2015 16:52
