Here are the current promotion/relegation tables within the PL:

C1

A1

A2

So, quite a bit of action but let's start, as always, with C1. There has been some slight reshuffling at the top of the table, as new leaders FC Nori overpowered a surprisingly lacklustre ROCKPOOL before thumping Plavi to secure the best GD as well as the highest points tally. ROCKPOOL suffered further misery at the steady hands of Stallion FC, but are still only a point off the lead. FC Kylle were denied a deserved point at the hands of cheats Concilio in an unfriendly encounter via a 91st minute winner for YAMAKASY's side. Concilio further continued their spiral by comfortably beating a Shaolin side out to preserve their stamina, while FC Kylle got back to winning ways against an adrift HC VIPERS side. To the chasing pack now, and Zatwor were unfortunate to lose out to an overenthusiastic Rangers side but then continued their hushed climb up the table with a win over G&G. My choice for performance of the weekend goes to Metropolitans, who pulled off some determined wins over Plavi and Bayern Munchen and keep the heat on Zatwor. Plavi's and Bayern's dreadful weekend sees them lose ground in the battle for the 5th prize spot, while Fandi Ahmad and Stallion closed the gap to just 2 and 3 points respectively between them and a prize finish. Shaolin had a decent weekend, given their effort and competition, pulling off a point against Ali's Munchen to go with the respectable 100% v 0% 3-0 loss. Coincidentally, our relegation zone stays more or less the same, as the only 2 teams previously in there on performance alone notched up single violations to cement a little more securely their relegation to the Adept leagues. Both returned to 0% in time for Sunday's game to receive beatings, which does not help their cause, but to their credit, neither side are going to give any other side an easy ride, and could easily see their fortunes change. HC VIPER move out of the relegation zone, despite only picking up a point, due to their better violations record. As we cruise towards the half-season point there is still very much to play for in what is turning out to be a very close group.

In A1, Antarctica's promotion bid looks to be over after a high effort weekend knocks them from 1st to 11th in a group where many of the top sides have got at least 1 violation. Emerging from the smoke unscathed to take the top promotion spot is Lombok, just 10 goals ahead of BVB Crushers. Those two sit pretty with a 6 point cushion over the chasing peloton, with BVB having a very nice weekend. Kelme, the surprise package, now sit all alone in 3rd promotion place, 6 points short of the top 2 and 12 points ahead of 4th. Barring a total collapse, Kelme can be very prous of their perfomance this season against some tough opposition, and it will be interesting to follow them next season when they perhaps face much sterner competition in Div 4. Again, Yoys and Manong find themselves in with a chance of promotion on their violations record alone, but congrats to both of those managers for sticking with the rules despite the tough competition. AC United and FINAL SOUND are still waiting for one of the top 2 to slip, with the latter suffering an unfortunate weekend with a close defeat to BVB, followed by an unfair loss to Antarctica, while AC scored 14 at the weekend without reply. SICK BLUE and Liverkop make up the mid table after a good weekend for The Kop, but they can surely hear the engines of Antarctica and Polonia revving loudly just behind them, waiting for a slip, both of whom did their promotion bids no favors over the weekend. Finally, SOC and The Cardiacs seem to have brought their teams in line with the rules, so we look forward to some interesting tactical choices from all teams involved with their remaining games.

More changes occured at the top of A2, with DaaBrain's violation sending them from 2nd place to 11th place in one swift move. Brazucca capitalize on this, moving into the promotion zone behind a totally dominant Fortuna team, now 14 points clear of 3rd place, and both will surely canter to C1 barring any glitches in the effort department. KBC Thistle scraped a win against BLACKBERRY before settling for a point against Midnight Rockers. The Lions played a big encounter against Fortuna, narrowly missing the points to a late goal by Ruben Mas, but made up for the disappointment by thrashing Vitoria on Sunday. DaaBrain's use of high effort may come back to haunt them, and as they made the necessary correction to 0% they faced the PL's in form team, Fortuna again, and got their fingers burned to cap a poor weekend. Brazucca won cleanly all weekend, but were hammered by a White Walkers side on Sunday playing above 0% effort. Despite this, Brazucca move into the promotion place, showing the importance of plaing fair over scoring points. Sheffield Sunday suffered a similar fate, and managed only a point against MESSI FC in a frustrating weekend for the steel men. Vitoria and Faroll picked up 3 very nice points over the 2 games, while another candidate for team of the weekend, Kosova, knocked Faroll for 6 before stealing victory from BLACKBERRY. MESSI's poor form continues, having registered only 1 win from their last 4 games, while Midnight Rockers picked up a spirited point at KBC Thistle after a thumping from DaaBrain. Chalmers bring up the rear, having not scored a point in their last 5 games.

Again, good luck to everyone, especially those in cup action today!
