I agree with your principle - C1 was made up of teams we knew, plus personal recommendations from us admins (2 each) and only then if they made the grade. The only 2 teams in C1 which were not vetted were Antartica and Concilio. Essentially, they were too big to say no to. Fortunately, they have been very worthy of the place in every way. A1 and A2 is a kind of testing ground to see who is going to play fair and who is not, and as you can see, they play for no cash prize. Instead they compete for the chance to play Shaolin Corinthians next season! |
