No new disqualified team after last Sunday. I cannot post an updated table as I am on the mobile internet some recent days. But I can see the data and current table is up-to-date re team disqualification. Set your tactics accordingly! |

I have an idea for the next season, for those who don't obey a 0 effort rule. If it is possible, I suggest that "cheaters" after breaking 0 effort have to pay some amount, for example 2M, to the team against whom has been broken the rule. And if you don't pay till Friday, the next team who you play with, can play against you with high effort. I am tired listening those excusing "I'm sorry, I forgot, bla, bla...." You forget, you pay. And off course, third mistake - you're out. In PL when I play, only three teams are reliable, 3 of 14. A lot of money if you know what I mean....... |

Nice thoughts, guys. Us admins talked about this, and eventually came to the unanimous decision that the way it is is our best way forward. We spoke with the @s about the possibility of economic sanctions for offending teams, be it a fine or enforced player sales. Their official (and in my opinion understandable) line on this is that they will not offer special dispensation to our PL or PLs in general. They will not hand out fines as in their view no rules of the game have been broken, and a player sale from the offending team to the hard done by team cannot be under market value, no matter what the circumstances. We also then tabled the idea of enforced player sales at 0 on auction, but dismissed the idea. The same as with a direct purchase undet market value, if I am wronged by a certain team, and force them to sell a player, that team is then weaker against everyone else - not exactly helpful to my team. We also concluded that most managers who don't care about the rules won't care enough to agree to sell a player. I was badly hit by cheating teams last season, but I still believe that by deciding what we did was the best we could given the circumstances. This PL works on honesty and the chivalry of fair competition, and those who don't follow this code to our liking won't be offered a place. Please keep your ideas coming, we appreciate your input. I thought you would appreciate the response as a courtesy, and to let you all know that we all do what we can to make this PL better and better each season. |

Thanks sico, I thought that the @s can help us, but now I see they don't care..... So, now I have to play PL with my "second" team (don't have one yet) and loose games against almost everybody because I don't want loose my players for league. I don't like it because some people are quibbling, but I like to play in our PL and will obey rules. And those who intentionally don't play with rules, s.... you! |

Update after the last weekend 4 teams exceeded the maximum allowed limit and got disqualified: Group A1: Esteghlal FC got the third violation point after playing unfair against Miguel on Saturday Spartak Moscow got his last one for cheating versus Plavi on Saturday Group A2: Heartland is out after playing non-zero with Hurricanes on Saturday Sick Blue FC leaves the league with the shame after the match with Hurricanes on Sunday |

Perhaps what we should do with prospective new members is have them start in Group A2 and have no prize money in that league. Make them prove they can be reliable over a whole season. Then if they are promoted to A1 they can start playing for money. | 30/05/2014 21:19 |
