Once I finally did I was in a bit of a hole and fighting to move up. Now I know how to play and the new server means a level playing field from the start. Someone who just joined last week has zero chance to make it to div 1 or 2 in the next 10 seasons, even if they did everything right from the start and had excellent tactics. This issue could easily crop up again in the new one, but at worst it won't happen for a long time. Plus with this being on app stores for mobile phones it could actually grow, we could have a division 6 with more players than system bots, and that'd only be a good thing. I think you're missing a big point, no offense: For me, I don't care about reaching Division 1 in the next 10 seasons, and I think I share this view with a lot of other managers. I just want to come in each season and improve my team, get a higher rank, make it farther in the cup, get a new fantastic player and some juniors. The people in Division 1 can stay there for all I care, I just like focusing on my own team. That's why I'm not happy about this new game- I want to continue to improve THIS team as the seasons go by with the NEW features, because I've already spend two happy years doing so. |

For anybody who is not liking this thing just ask yourself this question, were you enraged when windows launched a new os?? You had to spend a lot of money to replace the existing. Then you had to reinstall all the software. If you are not well versed with the saving the backup files, you had to complete all your games again. But you still had the option of keeping your old os and let the new one go to hell. Same is the case here. New server is a completely different game. But the best thing is that you'll get the new 3d sim here too. And if you are still not happy think like that game is a game by another company who is rewarding you paying in this game. I think you can't ask for more. |

"But but... But... All you beta users will have a monopoly by the time the user base grows on new game.. You people are always rich...never any chance for the little guy.." That sums up most problems coming. But, I think the best answer so far was : new game, new chance to strike while it's hot. If you want a chance at being the rich guy 3 seasons from the birth of new game and getting to div 1 or winning the cup faster, then join new game jan 7th. Otherwise keep playing this SM. Edited by cmccourt 24-10-2013 19:15 Once the beta testing is over, developers will reset everyone back. So when the game really opens up for everyone no one gets an unfair advantage. So please dont be under the presumption that those who play beta will be ahead of you. Basically beta testing is just to check the system's stability and check for any major bugs in the system and simulator. Once the problems are sorted out, developers will open the game to all. The main question is when will it be open to all. No one really has any answer to that, unless its really tested well. No one wants to start playing a game with bugs. I know later on there may be some bugs but they will be less as compared to when the game is launched on 7th Jan, 2014. |

At what point do those who want to participate need to have purchased Pack Manager? I'm holding out hope for a GB sale in December, which would allow me to get the needed balls for a long-term Pack Manager package, but if I can't join beta without purchasing by a specific date, that would change my plans. | 24/10/2013 19:37 |
