Do you think this would help make the game more realistic? (This would not be hard for devs to implement)

Bowsey's right. Even if you took a 0 off of every number, it would make things more realistic, but it would still mean that inflation would happen. The purchasing power of 10 million after this would be the same as 100 million from today. Nobody benefits, but it also helps no one. |

no weekly fees would fall but so would the amount of money a team makes just because under my idea, the price of EVERYTHING gets cut so money has the same worth but there is less of it. It has no point really and won't help/hurt anyone but people will feel like they own less money | 06/06/2013 20:56 |

At least some people understand that it benefits no one but helps no one, it is just an idea to make the game a bit more realistic and inflation is ought to happen anyway but for the time being it would wor, at the same time its just an idea and if i had to choose if i could have more realistic prices or a better sim i would choose the second one |

Dividing the numbers by 4 is like looking at the same problem from further away. It's like seeing an approaching army through your telescope, so rather than fighting, instead turning the telescope round so the approaching army looks further away. Nothing has changed. I personally don't see inflation as a problem. Look at the prices of 70 to 80 average players in the past few months. Those prices have dropped dramatically. I paid 380 million for an 81 average forward last season. I just saw a similar player sell for 180 million on auction. I will agree that very high average players are still very expensive. However only the top teams should be able to afford those players anyways. |

The same players are so rare there now, they cost a fortune. At some point, more and more teams will create 80avg players, and their value will drop, and current 80avg players will get old or become surplus to requirements and drop down the league. Eventually, you will see more 80avg players playing in Div 4 and 5. For now, as @sabre says, it should only be the top teams who can afford these players. |

the problem ith you, and i agree with what you are saying sicox is that you didnt read what i wrote carefully, same people will afford the same because EVERYTHING will be cut in worth and value by the same amount so everyone will basically be in the same finincial situation. If you choose to ignore what i write go ahead but im done commenting on stuff that i already explained. | 07/06/2013 00:13 |

Your suggestion, albeit well-intentioned, cannot solve inflation. ...everyone will basically be in the same finincial situation... So what have you solved here? Disrupting everything for no effect? Aesthetically, sure, the prices will look temporarily more realistic. That is all you would achieve. |
