Regarding http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=307356 Please do not mis-represent me to advance your own uninformed and inaccurate cause. The reasons for my leaving @ are quite clearly laid out in http://uk.strikermanager.com/noticias_periodico.php?tipo=periodico&id_noticia=4804&inside=1 I have 100% confidence in the remaining @, and you should too. Anyone who says otherwise is either a multi-accounter or a liar. As a reminder (and rebuttal) culeatopee had just been welcomed as a new merc, a private league that contains both myself and @practicesquad. At that time, I was still a @. We were looking forward to the challenging matches and sharing ideas on playing the game. Does that sound like the actions of jealous @ trying to get rid of him? Answer: no Can we please stop this ridiculous conspiracy theory that @ are somehow corrupt? The current @ are on 4 continents, have no connection outside of Striker Manager, and there are plenty of checks on their powers. When a @ makes a mistake, the others are quick to point it out and even to fix it. Long debates occur on the @ forum over complicated cases, and they do it all for free simply to make this a better game for all, and a fairer playing field so that no managers gain an unfair advantage over the rest of us, whether through multi-accounting or more subtle cheats. Petty motivations could prompt a @ to try to cheat, but that would be really stupid because this information is blatantly visible to all of the other @, and you simply couldn't get away with it. Some former @ have lost their @ over petty cheats, so being a @ is not a lifetime appointment, it's conditional on good behavior. I hope this message is enough to stop the false conspiracy theories, because I'm frankly tired of hearing it, and I'm not even a @ any longer. |

I'll be the first to jump on this thread and publicly support the @s. I've been playing for a little over a year now, and this has become my main diversion from real life. Although I don't have quite as much time to devote to it as some people, I have enjoyed becoming a part of this community and getting to know its people. Outside of my professional line of work, I have never seen a healthier community in terms of self-policing and self-less service by the people who have been given authority. When I picture this mythical admin forum, I picture Plato's Republic, with a lot of wise people in white robes reclining on couches and earnestly debating what is best for the whole. i love those good olden days when patient, luci, me and others used to sit on chat n see some funny people come and confess that they were multi and get removed as we report them, ofcourse the removal used to be after 3 or 4 days as we had less number of @'s. One thing i don't understand and hope @Dns, soli, blue and other @ whom i had to annoy on chat the day cluea was removed understands now. When ever a big case with a manager who is known to many is removed, kindly put a small post on forum atleast saying 'he did so and so thing, so action taken was according to @ team decision' instead of having headaches latter. May be after nearly more than a year playing the game developed by dev's made you gain some of their qualities like responding only when some one curses u or tries to create a headache on forum. I did not ask you guys to discuss, just put in a word to avoid fuss on forum or unneeded cursing and crying by the friends of manager who is removed. It's just for the 'removed from game' thing not for all cases. not wanting to make a long post, to be simple this is what i have learnt in my meagre work experience In present times it's just not enough to do good work, it's necessary to show people that you are doing good work |
