I know. but it's not like people are going to sell only excellent quality schools. div 6-7 teams can find low and reg quality schools in the market in comparatively lower price ..

Now look .. we are making things too complex here.
it's as simple as a player auction.
"if I think you are not worthy of my team any more .. I will put u in auction with a minimum base price I am expecting .. teams who will find you interesting will bid on you .. with an option of direct buy (can't exceed the construction cost off course). "

I can kind of see the point, but you can't really auction something that has a maximum price associated with it, they'll just end up being bought for that price every time. Plus, you'd have to pay taxes on the purchase which would end up making the school more expensive overall.

Personally, I don't think it will work and would be a bit silly really.

@practicesquad:
Again, the price requirement could be adjusted to accommodate taxes...or you could eliminate taxes on these transactions (no one say that this "will cause inflation because it doesn't take money out of the game," because it won't affect anything significantly)...in addition: future prospects could included in deal to give motive to buy schools
Example: Team X gives Team Z its High Japanese School + the next junior with prog. 75 or more from its (Team X's) High German School for $26,727,000.
In this scenario, the Japanese School is no longer very useful to Team X, and it will get the full initial building cost of the High Japanese School back in cash, which is awesome compared to the current system's compensation. Team Z will receive a (moderately) valuable prospect and the Japanese school for just the price of the Japanese school, so it ends up working for both sides.
Sellers would have to offer prospects valuable enough to attract buyers in order to cash out their extra schools, so buyers would always get a reasonable deal, and negotiations could take place based on what each is willing to give/accept in prospects, schools, and cash. And, any ridiculous deals that clearly are excessively helping a manager could be dealt with by @s. Finally, unless this actually becomes a considered suggestion, a way of forcing these prospect deals to go through in the future is not worth making, but I'd be glad to devise one if necessary.

midd: Shut up, your comments are not helpful.

oyewale: I can't believe I agreed to be your friend considering your current mental acuity... (Sorry, just kidding, you're more than a worthy opponent, even if your English grammar, spelling, and punctuation aren't stellar.)

bublai: Whose side are you on?!?! You're confusing me.

Everyone else: If this sounds way too complicated to you, please just don't say anything.

I don't hate the idea as it would ultimately help new managers get going. I'd imagine most 80-100% schools would go for maybe a few million less than they cost, but worse schools would potentially cost a lot less than current price, as there could be a lack of a large market for them, thus giving new players an incentive to pick up a school. If everyone started the game with a school (even a crappy one) I feel it could lead to higher user retention, as they could understand and see training first hand. It's also a way treat schools as a stepping stone. You sell your Netherlands school when you're ready to move up to a better school, which helps managers become established.

I have two issues though:

1. Someone could basically rent an excellent Brazil school for a few months, bust out a few 99 FC players, sell them for millions, and then just sell the school off. Only to buy another Brazil excellent school when they needed a little cash.

This could also cause a major issue when everyone clears up 90 million to buy a Brazil school in hopes of getting some good prospects they could sell for a huge profit and then sell off the school. The problem is then that nobody wants the Brazil schools at 90 million, and they all sell for 50 million, thus there is a bigger gap between the haves and the have nots. Where it becomes virtually impossible to move up without a squadron of Brazilians.

2. Assuming you could buy other peoples schools, you could see the rich people grabbing up 5 of each good school and again, cultivating a crazy squad of 99 FC players. This is obviously easily avoided if you don't allow more than 1 school.

I like the spirit of the idea, but I feel that it could cause some disastrous problems in the future.
