I agree with Ubuntu, this brings in some fun to the game. Getting a good player for cheap is purely based on luck. Don't get so worked up over this, it's only a suggestion. You seem to be having the biggest crib of all over the suggestion. |

Easiest way to make hostile day into a fair redistribution of wealth is to turn it into more of a draft: Each player gets 5-10 draft "tokens" (the amount of tokens could even be determined by last seasons performance) to place on X number of players. You get like a week to hunt for unsigned players, and put waiver claim in for them. The team with a claim on a player from the lowest division with the lowest ranking gets to hostile the player. After every player with a token is processed, then it's just hostile as usual. 'This then gives the people who need the help the most the most opportunity to get it, while still rewarding people who get the most creative with their hunting for good hostiles. It could also be implemented where instead of determining it by team ranking, it's determined at random based on the players that put a claim on someone. It would be more open, but it would also remove some of the weird cageyness people have about others on hostile day. |

Tell me how you know players that will be hostiled? That way, you will place waiver claim on my players every season and lose out I think there are better things to worry about in the game. Why would I place an X on your players? I thought Illex's idea was different than all the other's proposed and it might help all the lower ranked teams have something to look forward to when their team is composed of all 30 average players. I agree though this is not this biggest issue in the game, just a fun arguing point. |

That way; assuming there are players available to hostile from Div 1 and s few teams in Div 7 places hold on them and gets them. How does that really look? | 09/07/2012 00:22 |

It looks like some noobs just improved their team and have a chance to catch up to the big teams, like yours. It might also motivate them to stay in the game, which is a problem as many see the gulf in class from Div 1 to Div 7 and decide to quit. | 09/07/2012 00:28 |

There must be a huge difference between the highest and lowest divisions, you're taking this topic somewhere else now. When you join in div 7 you are supposed to have the worst players in the game, not div 1 players. |

I agree with you, but with the hand div 7 players are currently dealt it's almost impossible to ever reach a div 1 player. Back to the topic, I liked Illex's idea, and if not I support Akleb. |
