What a rotten season! Today I was looking really good against a team in the upper third of the table until into the 2nd half despite the fact that I lost my best fieldplayer to injury very early in the game, which was very hurtful, since he was my designated freekicker and from now on I had all my freekicks kicked by some DFM who wasn't even able to reach the baseline with his freekicks. But still....I managed to hold a 1:1 until halftime. Very early in the 2nd half desaster struck again. I lost my 2nd best fieldplayer to injury, which was once more very hurtful since I had already used up all my substitutions and had to finish with 10 players. Plus the injured player was my CDF who kept my defence together. Nevertheless I managed to score the 2:1 immediately after the injury. But, predictable, then my defence pretty much collapsed and I lost 2:4 in the end. Still probably my best league game of the season. |

Damn, the second half of the season started terribly... 3 losses and 1 draw... Lost to Big Bud today, 2:0, weird gameplay... I play him again in the Cup on Thursday, will try to get him back.  But first, Animales Bravidos on Wednesday; I gotta get a win... But then, stamina........ |

Not giving up yet. I played good against Bud, I had more shots on goal (hit the goal post quite a few times), but just lost the game. Haven't done the math, I'm 15 pts behind the current #2, so for sure I need to start winning, but I'm not sure that he'll start losing... Looks like Div2 for me again next season. Oh well, more time to build the team. |
