Admins and fellow members: I know that it has been said that offsides was "fixed" but it clearly has not been. This is frustrating on many different levels... but there is a BLATENT offside issue that should easily be fixed. I have had at least 6 instances in my past game where I have 5 (THAT IS FIVE!) of my players, in possession of the ball with NO DEFENDERS in front of them except the keeper. Guess what happens? My guy passes the ball and I am called OFFSIDE. This is ridiculous and probably the most frustrating mis-application of the rule in this game. I understand this is a computer simulation, and I understand that there are bugs. I would also be more lenient if the defensive line and attackers was "too close to call" many times, and this resulted in an offside. BUT, this SHOULD NOT happen when you have break-aways on the keeper and just because my attacker passes it to a team-mate, OFFSIDES SHOULD NOT BE CALLED. I urge the administrators to make this necessary fix. Thank you, DNI |
