What countries have good deals for excellent schools? I already have one in Uruguay but some other suggestions?
Thanks

China is a good school you get players every 4 days. The best is Brazil, you get players every 5 days but it costs like 100 million. So my recomendation is China.

I recommend only going with 5-star schools. Netherlands is affordable. Brazil low quality returns better juniors than China high quality. 21/12/2011 04:33

Your upgrade path is from Low up to Excellent on any school. (As you upgrade, you will generally receive better progression players)
You cannot however upgrade a RATING of a school, i.e. you cannot turn your 4 star Portugal school into a 5 star.

This is a great question. I am just completing my first season and I've built a sensible stadium, I was looking at (today coincidentally) what schools offer the best value interms of their quality vs costs. I have built a spreadsheet which looks a the cost of very country at Low, Regular, Normal and High and values that versus the quality of the country. So for example:

China (very popular because churns out lots of players) - is only 1.5 balls or 30%, but the school build costs are:
Low - 1,364,000
Regular - 2,727,000
Normal - 8,182,000
High - 16,364,000
Excellent - 32,727,000

So cost vs quality (Build cost/country Quality) looks a bit like this :
Low 45467 = 1.3m/30
Reg 90900
Norm 272733
High 545467
Excellent 1090900

You may think this is good, but compare it to countries like New Zealand
Low 3167
Reg 6367
Norm 19100
High 38167
Excellent 76367

It suddenly doesn't look so great any more. In china, a Excellent school you are paying $1.1m per every 1% in quality of the player vs $75k in New Zealand. There are only two factors which I have ignored, on is maintenance costs and time. New Zealand produces a player once every 15 days vs China's 4. So China will produce 4 players for every 1 New Zealand produces, which is fine, but keep in mind you pay 14 times more for this benefit. Thus, it makes me thing China isn't offering value for money.

After all of this analysis, I came to the conclusion, the best value for money schools are found in Uruguay. They are only cost 55k per country point which is 60% or 3 balls. If you are in Division 6/7, it is a no brainer as the build cost is only 3.2m for a excellent school.

Without a shadow of doubt the best value for money at the top end of the market is Netherlands, you will pay $220k per 1% (and Holland, is 100%). Compare that vs it nearest Rival (in Quality terms), Italy which comes second at $710k (So if you build in italy, you are pay 3.5 times the price in Holland and you are only getting a player once every 8 days vs Hollands 13...stupidity if you ask me!).

Finally, the legend that is Brazil, there you are paying $981k per 1%, which is a staggering 5 times the price you'd pay in Holland. However you are getting a player once every 5 days vs Hollands 13 day wait. However, if I pay 5 times the price of the normal price, I expect to have that item delivered 5 times faster, but alas, this case they only deliver 2.6 times. So you are over paying about 2 times.

If all of this is confusing, I'm terribly sorry. Here is a simple table.

Best of the countries with 1 Ball: Austria
Best of the Countries with 1.5 Balls: New Zealand
Best of the Countries with 2 Balls: Paraguay
Best of the Countries with 2.5 Balls: Venezuela
Best of the Countries with 3 Balls: Uruguay.
Best of the Countries with 3.5 Balls: Switzerland.
Best of the Countries with 4 Balls: Croatia and Portugal (complete tie)
4.5 : England
5: Netherlands (Holland to us Brits)

Before you go off building, to build the best schools in those countries listed above, build cost
Country|Build Cost|cost vs quality ratio
Austria|1.9m|100k
New Z|2.3m|76k
Paraguay|6.5m|164k
Venezuala|4.9m|98k
Uruguay|3.2m|55k
Swiss|6.8m|98k
Portugal|13m|164k
England|56m|621k
Netherland|22m|218k

So given this data, why would you build a school in Venezuala or Paraguay, get lower quality players and pay more than Uruguay?
So my personal opinion is, if you are poor, build a school in Uruguay. When you become rich don't bother with other countries, go straight for netherlands unless the admins have changed the quality of the countries or the costs.
When I get home, I'll upload the sheet on to google and make it available to everyone.

Admins feel free to tell me to stop talking none sense if I am.
