Uruguay1950 said: Uruguay and Netherland are best ^_^ Edited by Uruguay1950 22-12-2011 22:52 Pretty much. Except, I have ignored the one key fact, Uruguay, produces player who look like Sally Gunnel and racist buggers like Suarez! |

You might notice that most of the best players in the game are German, some Brazilian, some English, some Italian, some Spanish. Whether they came from a school is another question . I have not seen a 70+ Netherlands player, have you? | 22/12/2011 23:45 |

I have not seen a 70+ Netherlands player, have you? Absolutely true, I guess there is a lot of player development. It could be to do with training etc. My analysis was based purely on what value do you get for your money. In terms of the best ultimate quality, I guess population size will have something to do with. As well as frequency, clearly if you produce players more regularly, you are more likely to produce two quality players. |

Best value for money interms of the quality you get. (Costs barely over 3.2m to build and you get 60% Country quality) 2. Switzerland. Again, excellent school will cost about 7m and you get 70% country quality. 3. Portugal & Croatia, 13.1m to build, country quality of 80% 4. Netherlands. 22m in build cost, but you get a country with 100%. This is then followed by Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Argentina, England, Spain and France. However, the top 5 are those countries listed above, they are cheap and they offer real country quality. Have said this, I do not have any schools, so this purely based on cost vs country quality analysis. |

That makes sense. I don't think anyone should open a school with the intent of making money. The point is to provide players for your junior team. Develop them to a start and then consider selling them on. So your return on invest will be over a period 2-5 seasons. I repeat the assertions of others, if you intend to earn money in the short term, build your stadium. If you intend to earn money in the longer term, build a school. |
