It looks programmatically like the system limiter kicks in when your opponent has no attacking chances whatsoever. Your game is a prime example of the limitation of any "cheat" in an AI system. Probably a better way to solve high-scoring games would be to make the pitch slightly less gigantic relative to the size of the players, and to cut scoring chances down by upping defensive accuracy and reducing finishing accuracy. This would more likely mirror reality better, and make games as frustrating to watch as real-life football matches  _You need to add the offsides in there as well. |

you're looking for more frustration? It's already really frustrating now, especially watching your strikers miss 1 on 1s and watching your defenders always hacking down your opponent's strikers. Its way worse than watching real football games, but i like it. Also, i like it the way it is now. I'd rather see a few games/season that have 8+ goals from one side, dont want to see big scores. But you guys have a point that it's not fair for those who made a big goal difference until now. Maybe change it back until end of season. |

At the 80th min their striker took the ball and was running very slowly toward the goals and my defenders were just in front of him dancing. Then he finally reached the box and seemed to be barely moving.....every other player on the field were just standing still while my defender who was supposed to tackle him was just in front of him watching.
