1. sure, start with a 30/15. it makes him 1 year older and takes 1 more week to reach the specified avg.

2. alright, he will increase at 3.5/week (w/o temp promotion). that is 70% of 5/week which i used earlier. I had some leeway for injuries/red cards, i take that back since no juniors get red cards or injuries and you wouldnt have to rest them anyways(i only put it cause i knew you would say i put more numbers). taking away that extra 5-10 point deduction puts him at 70 avg again. That is a 35 point increase, 70% of that is 25 point. Add temp promotion to become 30 points. Still, going from 35 to 65 in a season is a pretty big jump.

3. its not 1 particular training and its not 1 attribute. its 4 trainings and 6 attributes.

I'm not talking about players on average, im talking about those monsters out there. And it is most definitely not 0.1, the lowest training used would get him at least 0.25-0.3 at 70 avg, that is the lowest training...not the highest.

Its not really pointless. If you have several of those guys, 4 can be starting...7 can be subs (i think its 7) and it would get you a fortune in 2 seasons.

Training levels are not set too high for the norm - thats the point.

We are debating a hypothetical training increase with a hypothetical player - the proof will be in the pudding, lets see how many 14yr olds have become 80 averages by the end of next season - I'll wager big thats theres none.

true, but they are set at REALLY big numbers for the sort of players some people own...w/o mentioning any names in public

for normal players, training is perfect...i agree. For high progression players (i mean reb's standard by high) training is too much.

You can temp promote your junior to give him senior training thats suitable and better motivation, especially if he plays in a senior match.
He temp promotes for exactly 72 hrs and then returns.

No it does not mean he has high progression.
