When training a player, why does he not get better if the training is "out of position"? Why does a GK stats for Pass, Finishing, Dribbling etc, remain at zero after being trained?..... or is that not the intention? Thanks |

well a gk wont gain any better if ur training him how to score, or train him how to deke.. this would be the same in real life. he is not taught to be perfect at finishing. teach him the three GK training moves. Saves, penalty saves, and catching high balls. All three will gain different characteristics, #rand sent everyone an email about training. penalty saves would improve his leadership etc. |

what about the real life GK that is changed to a striker? or the real life CB becoming an IM? |

it will probably take very long time for an actual GK to becmoe a good striker.. its like sayin you training Buffon (italian GK) or another good GK to become a striker.. he obviously wouldnt do good then lets say berbatov, or van persie. my suggestion u only train your gk saves, penalty saves and catching high balls... training him other things will not help him. |

I would love to be able to train individual players on an individual basis, but right now, with only being able to train the entire team on one thing per day, I don't see how this discussion is even relevant. |

My point was that if I train a football player how to pass, or dribble - his ability to do so should not remain at Zero.... By the way Edwin Van Der Sar, started out as a Striker! |
