Kaligula69 said: there is no official post saying that they do to fix bugs i think why @ can take advantage? and why can i not do the same? Wow man, really? Let's start: Welcome to season 4 (Sept 16th) http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=261525 "Lots of things have changed, if you find something not working correctly please send us a message through the contact form and we will try to solve it as soon as posible. For now, we've detected som glitches in the new training system, and we've decided to stop training till next monday, when we will have time to try it deeply. Remember you have this week to test the new simulator with friendly matches for next tuesday and thursday, and private leagues this weekend." Official Thread for New Simulator Bugs (Sept 21st) http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=262777 "Post the strane behaviours you've found in any of your games here." I can keep going on and on about how friendlies were allowed so people could get a hang of the new sim and report bugs. |

I would like to try to put this thread to rest. Let's start with some important facts: 1) there was no official update or other prohibition on playing more than 3 friendlies, just an update saying one could play up to 3 friendlies per day, and that this was replacing 4x friendly income. The mentions prohibiting exceeding 3 friendlies were in forum posts, often by non-@ 2) there was no official update announcing that @ were allowed to play unlimited friendlies. I would also like to point out that the first announcement stated that we would have 4x friendly income. For next few days, it was clear that friendly income was not being quadrupled. The precedent for undocumented change had been set. When the @ started playing multiple friendlies, many others jumped on board because it seemed to be another undocumented change. Once it was publicly mentioned that it was considered a cheat to play more than 3 friendlies per day, those who were playing many, many friendlies had an opportunity to stop. The senior @ could have easily posted an update saying "stop playing more than 3 friendlies per day, it's a cheat" but they chose not to do so. This was a communication problem through and through, and is very unfortunate. I would like to ask those who feel the punishments were too harsh to please make private appeals directly to @ regarding your specific situations, and to stop posting publicly asking for sanction recourse. Please don't appeal unless you have a situation that is different from "I played lots of friendlies because I could make more money". The senior @ have made their decision, and a public appeal will not change this. Again: public appeals will NOT change your fine, the appeal process is to message an @ directly to ask for reconsidering your specific case, with a clearly written logical explanation of why your fine should be reduced. Most of the senior @ don't even read the forums any longer, as that is the job of the new @ (who do NOT have the power to remove your fines, so don't message @CelloG, @Gunnernic, @bluegene or @rebsiot with your appeals). I would like to ask those who feel that the sanctioned users are being childish or unfair by complaining about their situation to please refrain from publicly criticizing them. They really do have a point: the definition of cheat was very fluid at the start of the season. The "recover" button is an officially allowed cheat (it removes red cards, injuries and refreshes stamina. If that's not a cheat, what is?). Playing more than 1 friendly per day was an officially allowed cheat. The fact that senior @ were allowed unlimited friendlies was an officially allowed cheat which was NOT officially allowed for non-@. The line is blurred, it's not black-and-white, and those who were punished have a right to appeal their punishment, just as anyone else in Striker Manager who is punished. Can we leave it there and instead focus on ideas for improving communication beyond the obvious "post updates when crap changes" change that will be happening from now on? Thanks Gracias Danke 감사함니다 Merci Grazie Dankie Mercès 謝謝 Dĕkuji Bedankt Ευχαριστώ תודה רבה Köszi ありがとうTakk Obrigado Спасибо [If I left your language out, I'm sorry ] |

Surprised they punished people for playing over 50+ friendlies, I understand its exploiting the hell out of it. (luckily I played fewer then 50 to get the extra 50% fine). But, I dont remember anyone getting fined or even having their player removed from the free player "bug" glad to see them take action on this one though. | 01/10/2011 22:58 |

The players were punched down about 12% This aspect has been discussed ad nauseum. |

Another bug is that I can't no more than 1 to 2 friendly gams per day. I would like compensation for frendlies who wanted to play but could not. That seems fair to the players that this revenue loss. | 02/10/2011 11:31 |
