If you purchase one extra roster spot credit with GB, it lasts for 91 days. The one issue after those 91 days [if none of your players have left from when you acquired the extra player] is that you cannot add any additional players unless you purchase that extra spot again [to get “back” to the 26 level that you had before] and one more so that your roster now has an “open” slot available. I recommend purchasing an extra spot just before either promoting from youth squad or making a bid for a player, either a hostile or from the market. Once the 26th player is on your squad, he will stay as a normal member of your team as long as you keep resigning him.
