Hi there! Just an opinion. I see lots of "smart" managers trying to sell their 33 years old players when only is 1 match remaining before season ends(some of them asking a few milions). I know they aren´t doing something illegal but i 'm just thinking on new managers that dont understand how it goes or still don´t know that those players will retire when season ends. Would be nice that, at least, create some type of warning about those deals, or desactivate those sellings when few matches are remaining. I supose this will be ignored but its sad that a new manager buying a 33 yrs player and, after 1 match, lose the player and the little money he had. Just a suggestion, hope nobody get alluded  |

Hmm .... Let me say your point was quite reasonable but due to some manager greediness they can't let just this happen because they would want a little prick to trick them just because they want a player with high average just to play for them or having them in their squad so let just them be and let the market vibe flow and if you are not interested in them, then don't bid for them... thanks for the reply, I think that if we allow it happens, probably we are losing some potential managers that striker manager needs. I played in the year 2010-2011 when that game had 100 times more players than now and had 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 divisions, all of them full of managers. Now only 5 divions full of abandoned teams. Soon 5 divisions will going to dissapear if we dont incentivate new managers to join this great game. If a future player that is trying understand this game, got scammed like this, probably we are losing that manager forever, and the game will keep losing the blood it needs for stay alive: Managers. |

The rule applies that a player must be sold at a (reasonable) market value, whether that player is 14 years old, 33 years old, or anywhere in-between. I'd be relectant in applying flat rule outlawing the sale of players in their last days or weeks. I think something is even written on this somewhere trying to define the boundaries. But I'd be very sure that the price makes sense, relative to the player and the bigger picture. Extra if the sale was not public. Even listing players far outside market value is a punishable offence, and can be reported like any other. |
