I'll respond to this, although I know I'll be shot at, whatever happens. 1. Thank you for raising the issue in this way. It's an important issue we need to get to the bottom of. 2. I cannot speak of individual cases. I will also not give some information here even generally as it will give rotten apples bad ideas. 3. The investigations that take place are pretty thorough. Each time you log in, the IP address is registered. Large investigations look at data accumulated from more than 500 log-in registrations. The log-ins are ripped to a secure spreadsheet for analysis. One of the beloved users named in this thread had links to 16 other teams. That's not a misfortune misunderstanding, that's multi-accounting. IP clashes are then mapped out to spot relationships in serious cases. The whole process takes hours. Hopefully this addresses the desire that we conduct proper investigations. 4. An IP clash alone will not get usually get a user banned. Certainly, it's less likely with a respected user who has been in the game a long time. Please read very carefully the rules of the game. In this case, pay extra special attention to rules 1 and 9. It says essentially in rule 1 that we'll look more harshly at other breaches of the rules if there's also a detected breach of rule 1. To put it another way, if there's suspicious transfers and an IP breach, we have little alternative but to remove the user. It's been in the rules all the time. 5. Multi-accounting has exploded in recent weeks. I don't mean long-standing legacy accounts like some named here. But brand new accounts made in large numbers. Roughly 600 in the last two weeks, if I recall correctly. Some of you will, I am sure, know who is doing it. This has, unfortunately, contributed to the current climate of lower tolerance for IP breaches. 6. Referring to 2, 3 and 4, some of the users referred to here were not that good at hiding it. I can't go into details as that would give the rotten apples a better game plan, but if you could see what we see you would almost feel sorry for them. It's the equivalent of being refused sale at a store and returning a minute later with a fake moustache and a faker accent. 7. From a technical perspective, even if it was thought to be a good idea (it's not) an IP clearout/amnesty would not solve the issue you're referring to. How can we work together on this? Please take the time to look at the rules of the game. In addition, if you are aware of anyone operating multiple accounts or sharing their details, be advised that these are not the guys to do dodgy deals with,or worse, share devices with. Avoid dodgy deals and avoid them. You can help by speaking clearly with @s, by not responding with threats or aggression, and by cooperating with the investigation rather than lying. @s don't want to waste their time removing cheat accounts. The real enemy is those that that don't abide by the rules of the game. In particular, the multi-accounters, cheats and dealers who have brought it down to this. Yes u are right boss... But I think u should reduce the rate u remove people due to IP sharing.... I don't really think Ip is created to remove managers from the game... I guess is just to block managers in close areas i.e brothers from the same parents from negotiating.... Some managers arent able to afford phone yet they av interest in the game...... Please consider this and let enjoy the game together... Thanks |
