 Hello there,
If a player is in his last year of contract. Will he be free the next year and can I hire him for free?

He will leave the Club if you don't re-sign. You have to re-sign before the season ends.

Yes, if not resigned by the manager before the season runs out or if its from a system bot team, but you can't hire them for free, they go on auction and you'll be in bidding war with other managers! 		01/06/2019 10:17
