If I bid a billion dollars but the auction is only at 200m, there's nowhere I can go to confirm my highest offer - unless I make my own note to myself somewhere.
So I might forget how much cushion I left.. if it's a contested player I really need, this would be useful info.
This could be added in the acquisition screen.. before the auction is won, the max$$ bid is more useful than the contract length

I agree but it's applicable to the manager with the highest bid

That's exactly my point..

If I'm the manager with the highest bid showing - in my example above, $200M - that wouldn't need to be the highest amount that I put as my max bid for that player. My max is stored in the system taken out of my cash - in my example above, $1B.

The point of this thread is to show the $1B somewhere.

Bad suggestion.

Someone sees an avg80+ player decides to go for him and finds out that the leading manager in the auction has a max of let say 250m while he in turn has just 200m then he bids his 200m just to punish you thus making you over buy the player..

Good point - but the max bid doesn't have to be shown to any other players.. just to the player who made the large bid. 25/12/2016 19:49

not a valid point to support your suggestion . once you bid your headline lets you know your max bid

So.. The point of this is to remind a player who did not take note of his max bid at the moment of making it.. Haven't you ever bid for a player while out to dinner with friends? Of course you know what your max was on the moment you made it.. that's actually not the point, because you can always type a text reminder in Gnotes or whatever.

I have a bid out right now for a youth.. and there's no way of knowing what amount of money I listed as my max.. the only thing I can see is what someone else put up to try to overtake me.

I can see what I will currently be assessed if nothing changes [i could say "ceteris paribus" for the economically inclined among us] but the system does in fact NOT show what my max bid actually was.

Eureka ! ! ! ! ! .. Thank God for our SM financial report. wanna know your max bid ?? easy just put your financial manager to work . under "EXPENDITURE" <<FIXED ASSETS>>.

you will know your max bid. just check the time you bid on the auction with your financial report <<FIXED ASSET>> It's bound to tally.
