Dear Strikers, I promise to make it as short as I can. I write a lot, as you can see. I’ve not written one word or one sentence. In very simple terms, I’ve decided to hang my boots in Striker Manager, but I’ve also decided, with the many words that you shall see and read, to illumine your eyes, not as to why I’m leaving, but instead, as to why you should pack up your bags and board the next night train out of this game. I’d prefer Eurostar for you. It will be worth your while; you have my word. I started this game in 2011 and left subsequently. Came back again in 2012 as Ali Agharabi, and I had not looked back again until now. Which means, I’m not a small kid in this game. I was also in the Brazil server the developers shut down where I was booted out upon gaining promotion into the second division. How about the Spanish server? I didn’t spare that either. But, frankly speaking, that server is eewww! Very disgusting! Let me not go into its details for I shall keep to my promise. I have highlighted all these to give you a very comforting, assuring and convincing ground for you to believe all the words I shall write to you. Or, even if they are very heavy in nature and quite hard to believe, they should rock your boat a little and give you something to think about over the next couple of days, when perhaps this post is locked down or deleted by fiscals, or goes over to page two of the General Forum. I’m leaving in a most unconventional manner. Unconventional because I’m not leaving due to real life matters. I’m not leaving to have more time to my family. I’m not leaving to have more time for studies or to face my profession and make more money. I’m leaving, and leaving for good because I just realised, to my greatest hurt, that I have wasted five beautiful years on this make-believe game. Don’t get me wrong. I love this game; I’m very addicted to it. I log in on an average of 50 times a single day. I’m always online. I’ve made beautiful friends both home and abroad. I once swore to remain here until it’s shut down. I’m not bored of it. In fact, I just bought a few set of 92 per cent averaged drug barons to fortify my army. I am a billionaire; I have handled more than $8 billion here. I even created a website for my Private League along with other organizers. WEBSITE So, you can see. It’s unconventional. I’m leaving because the system doesn’t want me around any longer. The whole essence, the entire crux of this game is simply to make money, buy good players to enable you vie for choice trophies season after season. Nothing more. And so, our decisions are custom-made and tailored towards this essence. We log in every day with it in mind, and we put in even our real life USDs and pounds and euros to realize this purpose. We invest our time likewise. For some of us, we’ve spent the time meant for developing ourselves right here concocting many tactics and drawing up one formation to another. And so, it is going to be unfair if after all our sweats, we don’t get results. The game gains; we lose. I don’t think we all like that. Our efforts should be commensurate to results. But, here comes the criminal. We have a market system which has been well-trained to frustrate us and ensure that all our efforts go right down into the gutter. The market is the evil of this game, as many of us are well aware. For someone like me who together with a minority, train the position toughest to train in this game (offensive midfielders), I shouldn’t be expecting some stupid bargains for my players. They are my players, and I choose to sell them at whatever price I feel is commensurate to the patience I employed to train them. So, I put up an 83/20 OM for $500 million. Anyone who’s got the money and who’s got the need of the player should go get him! But here comes the market. “What d’you think you’re doing, bozo?” “Doing exactly what you can see!” “Oh really? I’ll go get the fiscals for you!” And they come and detain you, and fine you. Well then, I maybe bought this OM for $300 million when he was auctioned off as a junior of 95 per cent progression at 14 years. Do you expect me, after six seasons of patience, to sell the player for $200 million, which the market demands in form of similar transfers? What then is my gain? Why then am I wasting my time? Why, really? Anyone? I’m certainly not spending 5 euros every month on the game to eventually have that crap. Am I so dumb? Am I so insensitive to my real life needs, friends and family, who could have benefitted from that chunk of money I place in the game? Why is the market treating us this way? We were given fiscals. The developers don’t play this game as much as we do. If they did, they’d always thrash us. We’d never win the Striker Cup, for they know what and what to do to win. Now, this fiscals are the authority, but it seems they don’t know it. They have the power to assault the criminal; they have the power to make the market look stupid, for they are the authority. But hitherto, I have not seen any developments, and I am a fresh victim of the market’s antics and tricks. You could be very soon, and that’s why I am writing to you, to tell you that it’s either things get better or you should also leave the game before you waste five, six, seven years, 1, 000 euros, 2, 000 euros achieving nothing. Well, our fiscals are slaves to the market, and I don’t think that’s a good omen for us. I conclude that they are not fit to rule us! Can’t you still see? This game is crap with a market system as crazy as ours! And, nothing is being done about it. I would suggest, and it’s going to sound funny, but we need a more efficient authority. The ones we have have let us down badly. They chase shadows every day. They are no authority fit to rule us. How did many of them even get there? We don’t know how quite a number of the new fiscals became fiscals. On what grounds? On what basis? It is a right for us to know who enforces the laws upon us. You can even see that most of them are all friends, all in one, two Private Leagues. It seems half of them didn’t become fiscals by merit; they were handpicked, like garbage. Anyway, that’s not my point. We need to control the market, and not have it control us, or we’d strike a balance some way, and I believe we need a better authority for this. Oh! You need, not me. I can’t stay in this game any longer. How are they gonna fix things? That’s not for me to say. Ask them; they’ll tell you they know what to do, but are scared of doing it. And here again, I shall leave with you another charge: We need to probe the fiscals. Hitherto, they’ve been doing the probing. Let’s take time to check out all their transfers and ensure that the ones enforcing the laws upon us are not sophisticatedly breaking it themselves and covering up for themselves. In the first place, they have let us down by allowing the market degrade thus far, showing how incompetent and powerless they are in handling matters as important as they are to us. Don’t envy them, those ones who parade the @ symbol. It’s like desiring to become a demon, when you can conveniently remain an angel. I watched V for Vendetta, and you know, I feel it’s the exact same thing we’re going through here. We’re fed with bollocks from our fiscals, I think. I think. It’s only in my thoughts. It’s for you to decide and check and see for yourselves! These group of fiscal friends, who elect themselves without merit and excellence, might have done so because there’s a covering of high crimes available to them in that chamber that we don’t know about. Ask Mr Creedy, and High Chancellor Sutler; they’ll tell you. Probe @vgates, @eamwilson, @champos, @illex, @Colebourn, @.XOXO, @yoyoyoyoyo, and others; maybe you would make the discovery of your lives! They’re just as much slaves as we all are to the market If you do find any, don’t hesitate to cause mayhem in this game, by ordering their resignation. You have the power to make them resign! You do. I’ve not made any claims. I’ve only given you a charge. For emphasis, I will certainly like to make my appeal all over again. No one may at the end of the day buy it, but in consequent times, you’d probably bite your fingers and wished you listen to me. I hope it won’t be too late. Leave as early as you realise, just like me, that this game is not beneficial to you. You might sweat over and ponder about the successes you’ve had, or you’re trying to have, or the money you’ve spent, or you’re already making. Took me quite some time to make this decision. But, the earlier you leave, the better. I mean, the developers of this game don’t even listen to your daily suggestions. They’re not even trying to make this game better. As good as this game was, that’s how bad it has become. It’s like they don’t care. We’ve not had exciting updates for almost five seasons! All they do, now, is tell you about next season’s schedule and about the Striker Cup final. And about the Christmas offer for Golden Balls. It’s the same stoooopid style, season after season. The day they don’t get returns from this server, the day we stop buying Golden Balls from them, I can assure you that they’ll lock down this game. We’ve borne a lot of rubbish enough. This game is not safe for me, and my money, and my time! The more I stay, the more I feel like an Egyptian mummy. Y’all need to realise this. We need a managing game that has a workable and functional market. We can fix that of Striker Manager, but it’s not for mere managers to fix it, otherwise we’d be fined – just like me. It’s for fiscals to do justice to it and force the developers to fix it. When the 400, 000 managers in this game become 500, maybe that’s when the faint-hearted, spineless and pathetic developers will come to their right mind. Let’s wreck this game for them! I’m not angry with no one. I’m not angry with the system; the developers forecasted the game wrongly. I’m just angry with myself and my barefaced illiteracy and about how much time I misused on a game that did me no good. I should end here. I’ll miss my Private League folks! They are the only reason why I can dare to check back into this game, not on competitive grounds obviously. To the many managers who have been of great help to new managers especially on the forum, Changeman FC, ForzaJuve!, yoyoyoyoyo before he became @yoyoyoyoyo, Sir Emelie, Oyewale, Whatamidoinghere, though I don’t know many on a subjective ground, it was pleasant having to work with you on those forum pages. Keep it up! I’m out. You’ll find me in somewhere else Derek. Edited by Ali Agharabi 20-04-2016 13:21 |

I sold out my senior squad last season after my second bid of reviewing the market structure was inconclusively rejected. Now it seems the game entirely need to be reviewed, restructured, revitalised and resuffled as the case may be! I now have more money and currently building a new squad which will be almost as good as the one I sold by next season. That's my own way of resolving this issue with my economic mind. At the expense of my promotion to div 1, which was quite imminent as at that time. Anyway, lets put that aside. I got your point and I think there is a better way of settling this. Imploring others to leave as a result of this is indeed a bad idea. I will not repeat what I said last season because I'm sure we all knew that the market structure need to be reviewed. I feel your pain about your OMs, I was even suprised when you sold one of them for +600m, all I can say about that is that you need patience. 80 averages players are quite worthless now a days and definitely the blame is on you here, this was actually the second reason for my sell out. I farmed defs for 4 season and the best I could get is 86ave, good stat tho... If I sell them and keep seniors I still be poor. Not really trying to justify myself or defend the @s for taking that issue lightly but I just hope you understand. Talking more about @s, all I know is that, it's by nomination and they are being elected with the votes from the current @s, favouritism might really tend to be at play per se here. I'd just say I dont know much about that. Not being defensive but I just don't care about probing anybody. Most of them are my friends, I often call them boss, though few of them will say it's not necessary. Almost all the current ones are elected right in our eyes. I really don't get that private league connection with this issue but it's seems you're making a point there. Probably you will like them to explain that of @Vgates. Let's hear more views about this, I rest for now! Edited by Oyewale 20-04-2016 15:10 |

I like your short version Yeah you are right about market, but i think its same for every position. We need to sale at 90+ avg near player maximum,80-90avg range worth nothing. Its same with CFs,if i get 95+prog CF 14yo for ~1B and train him 5 seasons to ~19/88avg and sale i will get ~700M. To maximize profits its best to buy 18/19yo high prog train few seasons and sale. Another way is to buy only 15yo high prog not 14yo. If you keep your OM and train to 90+avg its should be something like this 94prog 1600M http://en.strikermanager.com/jugador.php?id_jugador=18478984 |
