@practicesquad said: brezzette said: @practicesquad said: Another thing that might help is increasing the minimum auction price increase depending on current price. At the moment you can increase the price a minimum of 10k, which means if someone bids 500mil on a player, they can be beaten by 500,010,000 which for me is insanity. I think at that price it should be at least 25 mil increase before you can say you were outbid, like a real auction, so make the minimum bid 25 mil more when the current bid is high enough. Start at 10k for lower prices and increase minimum difference as values get higher. This will increase player values without artificial inflation. Am I making sense? Thoughts? Great thing prac, makes a lot of sense. Somewhere ~5% of current bid will be nice like you said 25M on 500M player,or 50k on 1M previous bid e.t.c ~5% +1 This is a great idea, +1 from me Also the 20% drop was considered here seasons ago when it was implemented in ES server, the decision was this server wasn't established enough to implement it here, For the long term I think this 20% drop in junior could help, for example defenders, if trained right you can get any of them 90+ prog to 97 average, with this deduction placed only the higher prog players can reach top average, in the long term this will keep the supply of top players down which will raise the demand. |

Don't dare touch that deposit. Am planning to get 750m after selling my team. That will give me some few bucks when put there. On serious note, am in with the reduction of training, motivation and auction increase stuff. Am even sick of getting 30 messages from staff because someone raised auction of one of my players from 2m to 5m damn. And also, i think the devs should think about shutting the door on +90fc players. With this, players will struggle to hit higher averages. This will make the already existing 90 guys values go up. Am not saying +90fc players should be eliminated entirely from the game. All am saying is their production line should be minimized for the next 5-6 seasons before their flood gate be open for one or two seasons again. With limited +90avg players, prices will shoot up just like how they should be now. |

Oyewale said: You just hit the point A A, I just want us to look into this carefully. We really need to scrap auction market system before it ruin this game. Transfer agreement market is the solution, all we have to do is to list players for sale like a kind of transfer list (Just like in real life). Interested managers can send offers. And the accept option should be in such a way that managers can't make mistake, there should be like two or three buttons to click. @s??? And how will a seller know whats the market value? Just the highest offer he gets? Public auction, has been the most effective way of buying and selling players, used to be true even in roman days. We don't have a perfect system, but alternative market place ideas have more flaws and will skew the game further than what we currently have. Accept one thing, this is a dying platform, even the devs have stopped doing any meaningful development. Its running on auto mode till it doesn't hurt uplays pockets. Once it does that or they have a better alternative which actually works, they will port all users there or close this one. |

I am against reducing training or player averages, etc. in order to prop up the market. First, I don't see any reason why the market should be propped up in the first place. By making it more difficult for new users to get stronger teams, you drive the newer users away. The fact that the dev's just increased the starting average of teams should tell you something. Second, most of the arguments I see for propping up the market come from very experienced managers. I suspect this is because they can't sell their 94avg xDF for enough money to buy that 95 avg xIM because the xIM manager refuses to part with it for either an amount within market value or an amount that the other manager can afford. I can't support something that only exists to benefit the wealthiest managers here (brezz' suggestion about removing deposits excepted). At some point, the managers training all of those players to high average will have to sell so that they can replace the positions that they do not train. All of those managers, the xDF, xIM, xCF - they will all have to sell in order to buy the positions they don't train. The premise that all of the arguments are based on is that there are just too many high average players. That is a false premise. I believe that there are simply too few managers overall, and that there is a bit of a bubble in managers. The structure is like a pyramid - but our pyramid is missing too much of the middle section. That will change over time, as long as newer managers continue to join the game. If they don't, the market will fall even worse. If anything, I would eliminate direct purchase, transfer agreement, the ability to see a maximum starting auction price for a buyer, require the seller to auction from $0, and change the bidding decrement. That would mean every sale would be via auction, and eliminate most of the ability to manipulate auctions. There will certainly be some that create multi-accounts just to bid up auctions but that won't be the majority of managers. An alternative, would be to change the structure of training, so that I can train every player position, or at least every inside or outside position. Let people train their own teams up. That won't increase sales for the high average teams, but again, I don't see the need to prop up the market to support those managers. |

Have you ever view the Spanish server @Vgates? That's the exact direction we are heading. Very soon 90avg players will start selling at 5-10m maybe then, you will agree something must be done to the market system. And oh, new users? Most of the experienced guys are leaving because Uplay for some unknown reasons decides to dump this server into the gutters. So what will motivate the new users to stay? The one month pack or GB? They will hit 90avg team within a year soon or even less than that. What will happen next? They will definitely get bored and leave. This game is dying something needs tobe done to keep it alive. |
