Easy guys..... This is actually a nice topic, open for discussion. I knew before hand that the link will spoil it but I just think it will be fun so I gave it a shot! ![]() |

SIRYEMMY said: Which one is the best? and why? What's the disadvantage and advantage of both. There isn't such thing as "best tactic", but rather a more appropriate so to speak. It varies on your players and your opponent. Since you have been in the game long enough to already know the merits of each, I will cut to the chase and write that given your squad characteristics ie. Decent players but much better forwards it makes more sense to play long balls so using good advanced formation you can set your defensive & midfilders to be tight in the back yet let your talented attackers go quickly on the counterattack. Of course you need to adjust your formation accordingly but I ll stick to what you asked. Short play makes more sense when you generally have a fairly balanced (and good) squad. The beauty of the game is that given a small % diffence between two team average, one can deploy the right combination of formation-tactics but most won't have either the time, or interest to bother. higher level of play(more of counter attack) focuses an attacking. Whereby attackers move forward and opponent are forced to defence. But if opponent also employ this long ball tactics also, it will be a disadvantage for the team. Because, the defends move forward anytime strikers are in front and in the case of counter attack, your keeper is in trouble. I suggest, balance in play is favourable. As it allows midfielder alert in holding-up lines. Hope you get the point. | 09/02/2016 11:22 |
