Dear Olympians, It appears, that the poll brought us the result before all 7 days are over. I appreciate, that you have expressed your opinion so quickly. We have 12 votes already and there are 13 members in our group. Here are the results: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How are we going to handle the free slot? Keep the slot open 42% [ 5 ] Fill the slot with a new team 58% [ 7 ] Total votes: 12 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Although not quite sure, whether all voters were from Olympus Circle - Council group (acceptable statistical discrepancy), the poll results indicate, that most of us would like to see some team here instead of keeping the slot free. So that we have enough time to organize and execute the decision of the poll as soon as possible, we have decided not to wait full 7 days and close this poll as is. During tomorrow's day we will try to fill the spot with some team - we will use the "first come first serve" principle under the condition, that the team understands and is willing to follow our rules. We understand, that this is a non-standard situation and if we had this situation before the start of the league, we would promote one of our adept members. Unfortunately, SlimRazor was not online soon enough to tell us about his resignation (what we of course respect). To solve it out according to the poll results, we have to deal with this non-standard situation and invite unknown team directly to the Council group. I have to say, that this team will be eliminated at the end of the season (no matter on the results and final standing) and will be offered a place in Adept group. We also understand, that having an unknown team in a Council group will bring some risk, but we are strong enough to deal with it very quickly. I hope, that everything will go smoothly and we will have this settled during tomorrow, so that the weekend round is full as we want to. Regards, Ronnie |
