Looking for advice on a simple problem: Whenever one of my forwards has the ball and runs towards the opposing goal, the other forward(s) trail FAR behind him, rather than in-line with him as he moves. I've set up my advanced formations to have the forwards lined up with the ball (in attacking half of the field, at least) and I have tried the tactics slider for forwards in several different spots. Nothing I try seems to fix this. I either get the lone forward trying to beat 3-4 defenders, or I get 2-3 forwards all going a mile offside every time my team gets the ball. I see this working well for lots of teams (most of the teams that rack up 30+ shots against me, for example...), so I know I'm missing something pretty basic here... Any suggestions? |

Put the other forwards one move ahead the one who has the ball, not in line. | 21/07/2015 14:58 |

Ah, OK. Interesting, thanks! I am pretty sure I used to do that all the time, but changed my approach when everyone seemed to be using OT. So do you generally place one attacker right on the ball & the other(s) ahead, or do you have all your forwards one move ahead of the ball? Edited by Bitterfish 21-07-2015 17:28 |
