Season ticket holders, as in real life, get tickets to your home games. They sit only in your general seats and nowhere else, and they all pay the season ticket price you have chosen. What they also do is occupy your general seats, which means no other fan in your stadium can sit in that seat, and you should therefore think carefully if you'd rather have the money up front, as it were, and then never make any further revenue on the sale of those general seats, or instead if you'd rather have the option to raise your general seat price during the season. What's happened in your case is that there are now 21'500 season ticket holders attempting to sit in 12'000 general seats, so some of them go home disappointed. You have set your season ticket price too low and limited your earnings now for this season. Your season ticket price needs to be closely linked to the optimum general seating price x the number of home games (competitive, I think, though I may be wrong) you expect to play this season. If you want the cash up front, mostly at the start of the season, set the price a tiny bit lower. If you would rather have cash injections throughout the season, set the price a tiny bit higher. |

looking at your stadium and your last game,I think you need to lose some season ticket holder and adjust your prices, you made literally no money from your last game. | 17/07/2015 10:48 |

Michaeljonah said: to reduce your season ticket holders increase the price to about 6000 That is very high, especially for a Div 6 team. Season ticket holders don't need to be seen as an unwanted irritation, but rather an opportunity to structure your income in different ways. There is likely an optimal balance. I made 80m from season ticket sales at the start of the season in exchange for 18k/42k general seats drawing no revenue on match days. Either way, there's nothing that can be done this season. The best thing I can suggest is either use 25gb next season to optimize the prices, or to ask users in the same division with a similar number of supporters at what price they sell general tickets at and work out what you want from there. there's a calculation behind setting of the season ticket price. All you need to do is,at the start of the season(any time one wants to set his/her own) calculate the total number of home games for that season, then multiplied by your ''general'' ticket price. The result should be your season ticket price. And after each home game, you subtract your ''general'' ticket price from the season ticket price. I don't use it though. NB: You can't reduce the number of season ticket holders you have at the moment, they have paid and they are there to stay. |
