It will probably cost a little more than that, but you can save yourself some money by buying 18-19 yo players 80-85 average with ~90 prog in positions you need and find trustworthy people to train them for you.

Pro tip: keep loaning them out until they only increase 1 average point in a season. Don't be tempted to keep them too early, you'll only regret it later

Buy 11 juniors LF/RFs ~90prog 14 yo(or 15yo in new season) they are ~50m each,train 4 in lineup other 7 in subs.
After 2-3 seasons promote them and train in seniors few seasons.
When you are done ask what to do with 10B.

worth noting you might not see best returns on youth investments unless your coach is 90+ and correct training given, also prices can change massively over 3-4 seasons it takes to train fully so not always a sure thing 13/03/2015 18:24

@practicesquad, what's the idea behind *wanting* only a 1 point increase per season?

And why wouldn't a coach want to keep them early on?

He is saying taking your player at 89av and not training him again is tempting but loaning him again and waiting 2 more seasons for a 93-94 av player is better in the long run
