Thanks to those who offered kind words of my team's performance. It was a good game today, although I was totally outclassed, no doubt about it. No surprise there! Even their B team is better than my A team. So many chances went each way, though, and I could have taken the win, but that would have been mightily unfair on tdot, who probably isn't too pleased about the scoreline. In reality they simply didn't take their chances as they might usually do and I made more of mine than I thought I would, so it could easily have been a very different scoreline. So, once again I bow out of the cup after a proud performance against one of the best sides in the game. It would have been nice to have had a slightly longer run but I'm glad for the cash and glad, now, for the rest my players will get. Give me a better squad and I'd love to take on some more top teams! Good luck to everyone else still in it, let's see who can go the furthest. |

It was a narrow scoreline and he used league effort. In Div 1 there is minimal difference between a managers A team and their PL/Cup team. You are essentially playing a league game against a Div 1 side who wants to win that league game. A score of 3-2 with an 87th min goal for him to win is a superb showing. |

SC round 4... Against a team who last log in was on Sunday 4th and has been playing with the same lineup (3-6-1) -kudoz, their results aren't bad at all.  Having taking a good look at them @3D,  i guess my 3 midfielders will struggle to exist buh i just have to win anyways simply 'cos i wanna get past round 5 before thinking of exit & fortunately enough, round 5 wouldn't tough according to my SC tree... My Defenders suck |
