It's always nice when your nearest rivals play each other. A late but deserved Miralay goal earned them a draw at 3rd-placed B Doctors. Anything other than a Miralay win would have seen me take first place for the first time in 2 seasons. A Miralay win would, however, have been the best result for my promotion chances... Assuming I win (I did)... B Doctors win - 1st FC Kylle - 74pts, 2nd B Doctors - 73pts, 3rd - Miralay 72pts Draw - 1st FC Kylle - 74pts, 2nd Miralay - 73pts, 3rd B Doctors - 71pts Miralay win - 1st Miralay - 75pts, 2nd FC Kylle - 74pts, 3rd B Doctors - 70pts I consider the draw to be the 2nd-best result for me, and the Miralay win would have been the best. I'd rather have more secure promotion chances than a bigger shot at the title. Many games to go still, I still play 2nd, 3rd and Klopp back in 4th, so that inury time goal could have big consequences later in the season. Thoughts? Am I right to settle for second? |

I'll obviously do my best to win the remaining games - I guess my question should more have been is it OK to have wanted an easier run to promotion more than I wanted a bigger shot at the title? You seem to have your table nicely sorted out for you, so if wetback and myself do well we could have 3 Olympians in Div 2 next season - that'd be great! Klopp, @vgates and Joola are also wildcards for promotion. |

Today sees the 14th meeting between 216th-placed FC Kylle and 217th-placed KBC Thistle, in what is oddly our first game since the end of S14: http://en.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=18451334 The last 5 meetings give us the following head-to-head league table: 1st - FC Kylle - P5 W 3 D1 L1 F17 A8 - Pts 10 2nd - KBC Thistle - P5 W1 D1 L3 F8 A17 - Pts 4 But make no mistake, the Keir Caledonian Stadium is never an easy place to visit and with Bulatov in the form he is in this is set to be an interesting match once again.
