Here are the current promotion/relegation tables for C1 and A1 C1 ![]() A1 ![]() FC Kylle extend their lead at the top of C1 to 8 points after thumping Kelme and disposing of 2nd placed FC Nori, who themselves thumped an unusually lackluster Yoys a day earlier. The top of the table clash presented a golden opportunity to the newly renamed Manchester United to make ground on the top 2. Unfortunately, the change in name from one struggling team to another doesn't seem to have helped too much, with Klopp's lads dropping 7 points over the last 2 weekends. Still, 4 points from 2 tough clashes will no doubt leave Klopp tending to some green shoots of recovery. With 2nd and 3rd dropping valuable points, Fortuna was able to close the gap to 3 and 2 points respectively after a great weekend, particularly in disposing of super defensive Bayern on Sunday. Also renamed Chelsea FC followed up a disappointing defeat to Manchester United by edging rather than sprinting past Kelme. Ronnie's Stallions continued their mixed bag of a season to register 2 draws over the weekend. Much improved in the PL of late, oldfirm's Shaolin Corinthians have won 3 of their last 4 to put distance between them and the PL relegation battle. The fight to stay in the league is a little more spread out but no less intense, with 6 teams seperated by just 3 points at the bottom. Finally, my vote for team of the weekend, Fandi Ahmad has finally woken up just in time to compound elcavo's problems and worry those others in the relegation zone. With just 8 games remaining Whatamidoinghere's FINAL SOUND outfit needs just a single point, or for 5th placed Vitoria to fail to win every remaining game to finally secure promotion to C1, provided the last games are played within the rules of the PL. LiverKop and ROCKPOOL now battle it out for 2nd place, while Up The Irons, Vitoria and Lombok set their sights on the final promotion place. A late winner for Vitoria on Sunday means Up The Irons are 2 points ahead rather than 4. Once again, AC United have been unable to back up a super strong PL performance with an equally strong violations record, recording a 2nd violation. MESSI and Midnight Rockers are embroiled in a struggle to finish respectively, but my money for most improved this season is currently on Midnight Rockers, having produced some spirited if unlucky performances, and will certainly be no pushover next season. At the foot of the table, Cuidad, and Kosova continue to struggle in a gritty group, and Chalmers are still waiting for their first point of the season. Best of luck in the remaining 8 games, everyone. Edited by sicox86 16-02-2015 13:49 |

kyle thumped me indeed, probably my worst loss yet, especially coming after my best win the day before vs the top team in my league. sunday was a much better game, 0-2 is not a good look but there was a missed penalty by me and a late screamer by joolabas. |
